(The German Christian Social movement, remarkably, resembles the Christian Right movement in America today.) Many have questioned Hitler's stand on Christianity. Although he fought against certain Catholic priests who opposed him for political reasons, his belief in God and country never left him. Many Christians throughout history have opposed Christian priests for various reasons; this does not necessarily make one against one's own Christian beliefs. Nor did the Vatican's Pope & bishops ever disown him; in fact they blessed him and the church NEVER excommunicated him!

Exactly. This is why I know theists are wrong when they claim atheists have killed more people than theists. That's bullshit. Add up all the muslim murder/death/kills, all the christian holy wars and how many slaves we murdered not to mention how us christian Americans wiped out the indians.

Middle Class First is what works, not trickle down.

A progressive tax system is not unfair. It works.

Having safety nets is not a bad thing.

Unions are not bad

Government doesn't have to be bad. Conservatives don't just say government is bad, they prove it.

This country runs best when we understand we are all in this together. Every man for himself doesn't work.

Making the rich pay their fair share is not class warfare. What they did to us the last 30 years is class warfare though.

Public schools and not for profit prisons is not socialism.

First, please explain how you define what is good and what is bad?

very simple. Two questions.

1) Does my action cause harm to another person?

2) If the answer to question 1 is 'yes', was that harm caused in a justifiable cause.

If the answer to the second is "no", then the action is evil.

if someone was stupid enough to believe something you said and it caused him harm in the future, would that make you immoral?.........
