Did Gorsuch and Kavanaugh lie?

It's unfortunate you didn't listen to the confirmations of Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett.

I did. At no time did they say they say HOW they would rule on Roe.

No nominee ever has.

When under oath, yeah, it is.

But, even if it wasn't, the fact that you're apparently fine with someone lying to get onto the Supreme Court says a lot about you, and none of it's good...
I did not say that. I said people who lie are not punished, why should the justices be?

Yes, we should all look to George Carlin for guidance on political issues.
Awww, a comedian speaks the truth.
That's where they get their best material from, dickhead republicans.

Federal waivers that have given U.S. schools the flexibility to offer universal free lunches throughout the pandemic are at risk of ending as Senate Republicans—led by Mitch McConnell—stonewall a proposed extension of the relief measures, potentially depriving millions of children of no-cost meals in the coming months.

Politico reported Monday that McConnell, the Senate minority leader, is "forcefully opposing" a provision to extend the federal school lunch waivers as part of an omnibus government funding package that Congress must pass by midnight Friday to avert a shutdown.

Who wouldn’t support investing in children? The party of “family values”, of course! The party that loves advocating for embryos but doesn’t seem quite so keen on helping kids.
Predictably Republicans are up in arms about the idea that the US, which one recent survey ranked as the second-worst place in the world to raise children, might become a little more family-friendly.

As soon as Biden had finished speaking on boost family assistance programs, childhood education and student aid., out came the usual talking points about how Biden was pushing a dangerous socialist agenda and trying to indoctrinate American children.
“You know who else liked universal day care?” the Republican senator Marsha Blackburn tweeted, linking to a 1974 article about day care in the Soviet Union.

Florida Senator Marco Rubio admits that the Republican tax cut plan, which benefits corporations and the wealthy, will require cuts to Social Security and Medicare to pay for it.

To address the federal deficit, which will grow by at least $1 trillion if the tax plan passes, Congress will need to cut entitlement programs such as Social Security, Rubio told reporters this week. Advocates for the elderly and the poor have warned that entitlement programs would be on the chopping block, but this is the first time a prominent Republican has backed their claims.

On May 31, 2009, George Tiller, a physician from Wichita, Kansas, who was nationally known for being one of the few doctors in the United States to perform late-term abortions, was murdered by Scott Roeder, an anti-abortion extremist. Tiller was killed during a Sunday morning service at his church, Reformation Lutheran Church, where he was serving as an usher.

“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful – I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.

“Grab them by the pussy,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

Looking to Carlin on political issues, sure beats, by a long shot looking to republicans on political issues.

Wasn't Carlin the atheist guy whose life was such a trainwreck, he had to enter rehab at age 67?
And you guys use him as your political guru?
Yeah for vicodin and wine.

December 28 2004
George Carlin’s list of dirty words is down to just two: alcohol and pills. The 67-year-old comedian announced Monday that he was checking himself into rehab. ”I’m going into rehab because I use too much wine and Vicodin,” he said in a statement. ”No one told me I needed this; I recognized the problem and took the step myself.” He didn’t disclose the name or location of the facility.

Why not?
Teabaggers used Limbaugh, the hypocrite.

During his talk show on October 5, 1995, Limbaugh stated: “There’s nothing good about drug use. We know it. It destroys individuals. It destroys families. Drug use destroys societies.
Drug use, some might say, is destroying this country. And we have laws against selling drugs, pushing drugs, using drugs, importing drugs. And the laws are good because we know what happens to people in societies and neighborhoods which become consumed by them.
And so if people are violating the law by doing drugs, they ought to be accused and they ought to be convicted and they ought to be sent up.” Limbaugh argued that drug abuse was a choice, not a disease, and that it should be combatted with strict legal consequences.

Radio talk show host and political commentator Rush Limbaugh stunned listeners when he admitted that he is addicted to painkillers .

"You know I have always tried to be honest with you and open about my life," Limbaugh said Friday on his program. "So I need to tell you today that part of what you have heard and read is correct. I am addicted to prescription pain medication."

Three years later, Limbaugh was arrested for violating Florida’s “doctor shopping” laws an alleged attempt to get multiple doctors to write him overlapping prescriptions. He pleaded not guilty and reached a settlement in 2009.

You'd get better insight from a homeless guy living downtown over a grate.
I did.
He was blabbering about needing $$$, from me for some wall and how he knows Trump.
He was reeking of old clothes and stale beer.

There is no need to 'replace' a socialist giveaway. Just let the private sector do its thing like it used to be allowed to do.
Yeah, with an extra $500 million of US taxpayer $$$, like republicans always allowed them to do, rape the taxpayer.

Building ramparts of secrecy around a $600 billion-plus coronavirus aid program for small businesses, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin moved from delay to denial in refusing to disclose the recipients of taxpayer-funded loans.

Mnuchin told Congress at a hearing last week that the names of loan recipients and the amounts are "proprietary information."

About 10 weeks after the Paycheck Protection Program was launched, the SBA said it has processed 4.5 million loans worth $511 billion. It has yet to make public the recipients of taxpayer aid. The agency has provided only general information, such as the total amounts of loans awarded in a given time period.

Mnuchin ditched that ambiguous position last week, making it clear at a Senate hearing that the administration does not plan to disclose the recipient names and amounts. Though the SBA administers the program, Mnuchin's Treasury Department has ultimate control over it.

"We believe that that's proprietary information, and in many cases, for sole proprietors and small businesses, is confidential information," Mnuchin said

Chimpy was an utter failure. Everything he did should be undone.

I know.

Biden is working on it.

This should have been the response when these nominees were asked about Roe:

“A judge sworn to decide impartially can offer no forecasts, no hints for that would show not only disregard for the specifics of the particular case, it would display disdain for the entire judicial process.”

DUH!

Post 311<312 both my comments, retard.

Teabaggers are just like their illiterate orange dear leader, hypocritical, lying, morons.
Go back and get a remedial education, you simpleton. And Why would anyone bother to re-read your idiocy? The first time is plenty stupid enough.

And don’t talk about teabagging. Nobody wants to hear anything about your sex life.

Aww, the truth hurts the teabagger, Trumptard, even though you're incapable of reading the bigly words.
Carlin had you nut jobs figured out decades ago and you can't stand it, now your panties are in a wad.
And don’t talk about teabagging. Nobody wants to hear anything about your sex life.
Sounds like personal experience to me.
