The DHS is pretty good at stating the obvious..........

An intelligence report compiled by DHS’ Intelligence and Analysis Unit has concluded that citizens affected by President Trump’s travel ban are “rarely implicated in U.S.-based terrorism.”

The report concluded that “country of citizenship is unlikely to be a reliable indicator of potential terrorist activity,” and it says that “relatively few” of the citizens of these countries maintain access to the U.S.” The countries named in the president’s original travel ban were Somalia, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Sudan and Yemen.

From the same article:

DHS officials, however, are distancing themselves from the report. Acting Press Secretary Gillian Christensen called it an “incomplete product that fails to find evidence of terrorism by simply refusing to look at all the available evidence.”

Christensen noted the report was put together from open-source material - mainly from U.S. government press releases and public documents, as opposed to “an official, robust document with thorough interagency sourcing,” and “it doesn’t include data from other intelligence community sources.” The footnotes to the report acknowledge that the material is open-source and that some of it can be found on the State Department website.

The leaking of the document suggests that there may be some disagreement within DHS on the intelligence that is being used to rewrite the new travel ban executive order that President Trump is expected to sign next week. U.S. government sources tell CBS News that there has been friction between some intelligence analysts and their superiors.

If and when the list comes to include the Saudi Arabia wahabists, perhaps some connection of this "ban" to terrorism may take on some legitimacy.

This was originally an Obama list. That said, Saudi Arabia is the 800 lbs. gorilla in the room.

They have resources the corporate state values more than any so called concerns over terrorism. “The people” have never really mattered in america, the concentration of wealth and power and global hegemony do matter.

Let me fix that report for you....

"obama minions...still embedded in the Dept. of Homeland Security, have put out a report to undermine the efforts of the Trump administration to actually fix our immigration vetting process......"

There...fixed that..the rest of the information flows from that first fact...

I feel so much safer, knowing that the government detained Muhammad Ali's son, because of his name and his religion.

Muhammad Ali’s Son Detained for Hours at Florida Airport by Immigration: Reports

No moron......he was detained because you guys want the unaccountable no fly list...his name got pinged because it sounded like an actual terrorist name.......

This is funny because morons like you tell us that you want a No Fly/No Buy list for gun owners based on this mess you just reported on....

The former Navy Seal who filled in on the Hannity radio show yesterday pointed out that the vetting process is not using the Department of Defense database of known terrorists taken into custody overseas......when they are captured and detained they are photographed and finger printed....and if they are released, they still end up trying to get over here, and the immigration agencies do not search that database when they are vetting these immigrants....

America has no further need for terrorists, our own political and economic system will finish off this so called democratic experiment.

So you want Trump to be Obama?

Yes, SA is exactly that.

Why is everything black or white? Obama did not change everything when he came into office, in fact most everything is the same from when he took over. Presidents incrementally make changes.

Every should not be black or white, but we have the Alt Right and the hard Left fighting to make it so.

So we end up with dooshes like Clinton and Trump as the candidates.

The American people were screwed either way.

Now Pence may well likely become president because of impeachment or Art XXV proceedings.

Not actually based on actual "security threat" metrics; does that raise potential "conflict of interest" issues?

We have a Commerce Clause.

Why are we wasting the Peoples' tax monies on Prohibition?
