On Tuesday, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention issued a notice to dog lovers as well as the rest of the general public about 30 cases of people becoming ill in 13 U.S. states. Wash your hands. Wash your puppy. People who take a bath or shower with their puppies never have to worry.

Well... if puppies are spreading an illness... then no. That's what the CDC is here to do. It's not like they are dropping all over investigations.
