I came up with NewGoper as a "lable" for someone that never had the experience of GREAT republicans like Eisenhower and Goldwater. Even Nixon had his moments of greatness but as we travel closer in time to present we run into Reagan.. maybe the most over rated blowhard of any president ..he taxed and spent more percentage wise than any modern president.. He conducted wars insane weapons deals with our enemies at a time way before it was legal to do so. Reagan spent billions(when billions was like todays trillions) on a little thing called "star wars". And what do we have to show for "star wars"? Nothing.

Bush one was OK. At least he was smart and knew the game... unlike his fuckwit son.

I am what is refered to as an old school republican. My kind of republican doesn't preach his religion. I still don't know what religions Eisenhower or Goldwater were. Don't care.

Your modern day republican is just an extention of his church. That fact presents a wide gulf between me and thee.

Nixon was the LAST republican to balance the budget in any year a republican held the white house.

Except for some small honesty failings Nixon was a good and moral man. The modern republican public official is a snake. He is as dishonest as anyone in prison. He lies about EVERYTHING...without exception... Then he spends a fortune calling his opponent dishonest.. most of which is lies. He spends YOURS and my money without thought. He risks yours and my economy without thought.

I believe Obama is an honest man...a good man.. His policies I don't always agree with but his heart is in the right place. I trust Obama to try to do what he says he will do.

Romney? I wouldn't trust him to hold a place in a movie line. He will say anything to please anybody and ten minutes later he will say something else to please THAT person. I do not trust Mitten's judgenent or character to occupy my countries white house.
