Goes without saying, how you spend your time on here is up to you, and you alone. However, if I multiply your habit of (in my view) wasting time jumping to silly (at best) baits by a few hundred on here, and look at the wider social media landscape and multiply it by a few tens of millions, a major problem emerges in that clickbaits gobble up humongous amounts of two very limited resources, namely, time and attention. That is, time spent and attention devoted to non-issues that are, in relevant part, dangled before an easily distracted audience largely or entirely prevented from debating what would issues worthy of analysis, worth the work of bright folks trying to figure out what is going on, what is going wrong, and what is to be done about it.

That is, in essence, the work of GatewayPundit (and similar odious outfits) and their demented henchmen. Everyone who would jump to the bait of GatewayPundit (Breitbart, Fox, Infowars, etc.), as promulgated by rightarded nitwits on here, is in effect amplifying their message and their power, and helping to suppress reasonable debate.

My conclusion is, whoever can't be bothered to check, before hitting the "post" button, whether the post is anything worth posting in terms of furthering real debate, is part of the problem, and an enemy of debate. (And no, just to clear that up, your patient if somewhat repetitive efforts to inform the equivalent of brick walls about the facts is very far from the worst behavior, as some others might still learn something.
