'Democrats have won at least 33 seats, but they look poised to win closer to 40 — there are 13 races that are either not called or too close to call, and Democrats have a solid chance of winning seven of those.

Why it matters: We're officially in "blue wave" territory. Even if Democrats didn't win any additional House seats, they've already won the most number of seats since Watergate, when the party picked up 48 seats in 1974.'

Interesting.

Even if they got to 40 it would NOT be as much as the number of House seats Obama LOST 63 ie. Republicans won or Clinton LOST 54 ie. Republicans won and when did a Democrat President last WIN Senate seats....hmmmm.

What? Your story is full of holes. Republicans took 63 seats in the House in 2010.They also also took control of 29 of the 50 state governorships and gained 690 seats in state legislatures, to hold their greatest number since the 1928 elections. In all, the GOP took over a thousand federal, state, and local offices.

Is your memory that short? Here, let me refresh it for you:

That is interesting. What do you think they will do with it?
