He's the conscience of the Republican Party. And that's why most Neocons just want him to go away. They want to be free to be dishonest with the voters and pretend to be Conservatives with no opposition. Only Ron Paul stands in their way. The Republican Party has been Democrat-Light for too many years. It's time to get back to real Conservative values. And i'm real happy to see some Democrats joining the Ron Paul Revolution. Everyone is welcome.

I see democrats voting for Paul the same as how we got stuck with McCain. Truth is I don't really like any of the choices being presented to us. But nearly any of them will be better than what we have.

Obama doesn't have the monopoly on OWS votes, either.

If the GOP truly believed in "anyone but Obama", they'd stop blackballing Ron Paul.

Yes, Ron Paul back in 2002 & 2003 (and even before then) predicting every relevant issue facing Americans today is CRAZY. Don't want to vote for a visionary leader with wisdom and foresight because that would be CRAZY

I think I would write in my own name before I voted for Ron Paul. And I would really suck at it....
Without looking at these two, he predicted what was coming? Did he provide solutions as well? If not, why is he keeping solutions to himself?

Why would the North bomb the South? They have a joint manufacturing facility set up in the North that employs 40,000 norks. It's probably the only reason they don't all starve to death.Moderator: "Gov. Perry, what's your favorite Beatles song?"OK, so at least we see where Paul's support comes from: People who don't want a real Republican to win. That settles that.
Gov. Perry: "Uh, that would be Here, There and uh.... Um.... I don't know the third one. Oops!"
Dr Paul, do you oppose North Korea bombing the shit out of South Korea?
No, I think total nuclear annhilation is a reasonable alternative for any other country.

The wiki page is a decent overview of the term, it's history and development, etc. The current batch mostly come out of the Straussian school of thought. In general, it's a political philosophy that embraces nation-building, social engineering and a twisted version of American exceptionalism that sets us on a mission to push our values on the rest of the world - by force if necessary. Essentially they're 'big government' conservatives with a distinct distaste for individual liberty.

You have just described 2 or 3 people on this forum, at the very most......
At any rate, I won't vote for Paul, regardless of what you think I believe and why.
Maybe I should run....
That room is a damn mess. Do a field day in there soldier!
