Democratic Myth No. 1: GOP is to blame for failure of Obama’s job policies

The facts are that the stumulus worked.

I know full well you creatins will just keep lying about it.

Lies are all your party has left

I'm not even going to take Truthmatters off ignore to read what idiocy she posted. Three posts in less than a minute shows she didn't even read it. Update: Make that 4 in under a minute.

Shes a super shit slinger :clap2:

You're being kind to her. She makes Lahkota look coherent.

Dear fucking asswink,

you have me on ignore remember.

you dont know what I say yet you talk as if you have read what I said.

Just how more republican can you get than to insult what you know nothing about?

Three destructive Obama administration policies

First, there’s the legislation Democrats passed under President Obama to fix our economy during the nearly two years they had control of the presidency, the House and a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. There’s the failed trillion-dollar stimulus that was supposed to keep unemployment below 8 percent and reduce it to 5.4 percent by now but did little other than increase our debt. The Job Impact of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Then there’s the ironically titled Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) that was to reduce health care costs but has resulted only in cost increases that are set to continue in an upward spiral.

Finally, there’s the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act that essentially enshrined “too big to fail.” Its voluminous rules are some of the most convoluted and confusing our capital markets have ever seen burying community banks in regulations, stifling business and hurting consumers.

President Obama proposed (and when Democrats were in complete control, actually passed) various pieces of legislation that failed to improve our economy but did succeed in increasing government regulation, driving costs higher for businesses, lowering incentives to work and increasing dependency.

That's a myth.

And the myth continues that "Obama's policies" failed. The policies that passed, TARP, auto bailout, stimulus..were successes.

Subsequent policies were blocked.

Yeah, policies that just might have worked.

Best way to improve the economy and create jobs is get rid of Obama.

Once he's gone the jobs will come.

Did the stimulus work? A review of the nine best studies on the subject - The Washington Post

You see it your way, others will see it their way. Right now, unemployment is high, not enough jobs being created, 5 trillion in debt added and little to show for it. The auto bailout was a UAW payback. GM is on the brink of bankruptcy again.

The stimulus would have worked even better if it were allowed to be more like Obama wanted in the first place.

Of the nine studies I’ve found, six find that the stimulus had a significant, positive effect on employment and growth, and three find that the effect was either quite small or impossible to detect. Five studies use econometric ”experiments,” which attempt to, as Barro encourages, sort out the effect of the stimulus from other factors using empirical data. Four use modeling instead.

that is from your own link.

Themajority of studies say if worked yet you guys just keep lying about it

When Democrats use the 4.5 million jobs number, they're referring to jobs created after the economy bottomed out in January 2010, one year after Obama took office. That time frame excludes the worst job losses, which took place in 2009, and which many Democrats argue were the result of Bush policies.

CNN concludes: "The figure of 4.5 million jobs is accurate if you look at the most favorable period and category for the administration. But overall, there are still fewer people working now than when Obama took office at the height of the recession."

We are still better off today then four years ago even if unemployment is at 8.1% becasue would would have been worse if not for the stimulus, the bank and auto industry bailout, etc, but had Bush tax cuts for the rich had expired we would be much better off. And the wars never happened when we did not have money to pay for them and continued contractors like Halliburton and Balckwater stealing from government.

Tell those included in 8.1% that we are better off.

GM is close to bankruptcy again, the UAW was paid in full.

And if I didn't take a shit this morning, I might feel constipated all day.

Get real!

Hey dude with the cute little doggie (Barret)

TM just kicked the shit out of you. You post what, 10 threads a day and each and every one of them, you are made to look like a moron. Nice job.

Why don't you go out and get a real job. Do something constructive. Instead of being made to look the fool. You will feel better about yourself with a real job.

Good work TM.:clap2:

The majority of studies in your own link say the stimulus worked,

Yet another fact you will ignore.

Its the only way you can remain as stupid as you wish to be

He put me on ignore like the first day he got here when he posted a thread spewing rumors about the presidents DEAD MOTHER.

he is the typical con who hides from facts so he can keep spewing the lies he told by fox news

Remember just a couple of weeks ago when the republicans tried that line "are you better off today than four years ago?".

They forgot that four years ago Bush was about to annouce the crash he presided over.

they dropped that line real quick.

WOW dude. I insult the shit out of you and that is the best you can do? No wonder your stupid arguments are so easily refuted. You got nothing but bull shit. How many more ignorant threads you plan on starting today? Maybe you could get your arguments a little more in line with reality. Like by reading your own links.
