Right wing racists targeted this film because the lead is black. First the final trailer got 1.5 million dislikes in 48 hours. There is no way you will get that many responses in that amount of time. Then fake reviews were planted in larger countries like Europe where right wing racism has gained support and taken over several countries. What is interesting is in smaller countries like the UAE, Philippines and Hong Kong, it did very well. They were not hit with fake reviews. Even in the US, racism dampened the enthusiasm for the film. Disney also received a huge number of hate messages directed at Halle Bailey. The shame is that she did a terrific job.

The middle class have a right to be angry. However it is multinational companies that are responsible not minorities. Hollywood is the latest public example. Big corporations are refusing to negotiate in good faith. Walmart is pressuring pharmacists to take a pay cut. This is from a company that makes billions. Corporations are making huge amounts of money but their tax payments are not increasing. Because they have found numerous loopholes. You look at all the programs that are disappearing from streaming. Nearly finished movies being dropped.

It's not the Democrats who are "pumping up the race divisions", it's the Republicans who consistently warn about the "shit hole cities run by blacks". They're corrupt, filthy, and full of crime and violence.

One point to this. In the 1950s the US was just about the only economy working well. Most of Europe and Asia were rebuilding from WWII. Mao was killing millions in China. Agree with you about BLM.

In the United States, post-World War II, the black middle class and white middle class was at its zenith. Now today, the United States is in many ways, a disgusting country. There’s simply no denying the numbers. The price of gas was much lower under Trump. The cost of a home was astronomically lower under Mr. Trump.
