Those Palestinians had no other choices. Mostly because the Israeli government used Qatar to fund Hamas because Bibi wanted to undermine the PA. Came back to bite him in ass...hard.
The Israeli government made no attempt to build any bridges or goodwill with the people of Gaza that might have made them less willing to turn to Hamas. Locked them behind a wall in a 25 mile strip of land that's some of the most surveilled land on the planet. The IDF still continues to sanction taking Palestinian land and straight up murder in the West Bank by settlers.

Cause...and effect. But you just broad brush and lump them all into the same category.
Again, easier to justify brutalization.
