So the Medina Surats have more meaning than the Mecca Surats or are they entirely superceeding?

Trying explain it on a message board won't do the subject justice. You will have to spend time studying it on your own. Or better yet, go to the local mosque (most are Sunni) and ask the Imam to answer your questions. I'm sure he will be delighted to do so. ....
