CRAZY TOWN: GOP Rep. Ready To Impeach Hillary On Her First Day As President

She hasn't even secured the Democratic nomination.

WASHINGTON -- Hillary Clinton isn't president yet. She hasn't even won the Democratic nomination. But a Republican congressman is already getting ready for the opportunity to impeach her -- on the first day of her hypothetical presidency.

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) recently spoke with talk radio host Matt Murphy and said the real issue with Clinton's use of a private email server as secretary of state is "how many lives she put at risk by violating all rules of law that are designed to protect America's top-secret and classified information from falling into the hands of our geopolitical foes who then might use that information to result in the deaths of Americans."

Brooks added Republicans are going to make sure this issue follows Clinton into office, should she be elected president in 2016.

"And in my judgement, with respect to Hillary Clinton, she will be a unique president if she is elected by the public next November, because the day she's sworn in is the day that she's subject to impeachment because she has committed high crimes and misdemeanors," he said.

Brooks' office did not return a request for future details about the impeachment plan.

Clinton is scheduled to testify Thursday before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. The committee has taken a beating in recent days after a couple of self-inflicted wounds from its own members questioning the nonpartisan nature of the panel.

VIDEO: GOP Congressman Already Floating Impeachment For Hillary Clinton

This is unbelievable! How could anyone expect that Hillary will receive a fair hearing before the House Benghazi Committee on Thursday, October 22, 2015? The whole world must be laughing at GOP dysfunction and hostile partisanship.. I've never seen anything like it during my 68 years on the planet. It's like political rabies.

Americans have to finally get used to the facts. Republicans have given up on this democracy. They have decided that if they don't get to have all the power and force everyone to do what they want, they are going to derail this democracy at every whim they have and at every turn. Pretty much the same mentality in 1860 right before a bunch of whackjobs caused 650,000 people to die because they didn't get their way.

WTF is wrong with these people. They have gone insane.
They're ideologues and extremists who adhere blindly to errant, failed conservative dogma.

They don't make up the majority of conservatives, or republicans for that matter; but they do manifest in such numbers, particularly in gerrymandered red state Congressional districts, where they're able to use their obstructionist tactics to inhibit the pursuit of sound, responsible governance.

Hillary better hope Obama pardons her before he leaves office. Her only other chance is getting elected president and pardoning herself, which she could do.

Is everyone ready for the big House Benghazi Hearing tomorrow? CNN will be airing it live beginning at 9:00 am ET.

Well, after yesterday, I doubt any NaziCons still have visions of impeaching President Hillary Clinton on her first day in office.

Evidence has clearly been shown proving she broke the law, MULTIPLE LAWS, according to the FBI, the State Department, and even Ibama himself during his inept attempt to defend her. Those laws include the FOIA, the Federal Records Act, and, by knowingly storing Top Secret Special Compartmenralized classified information on a server that was improperly set up without proper encryption for several months, Hillary Clinton violated the Espionage Act, specifically the clause regarding 'Gross Negligence'.

By doing so she endangered our National Security, allowing, reportedly / potentially a foreign hacker, Putin/ Russia, and China to have access to what the WH itself called 'information so classifie that it could not be released to the public in any format or amount because it would cause seriously grave damage to our National Security'.

At the very least she should have had her security clearance permanently stripped and faced no less than the punishment handed down to General David Patreaus, as her crimes far surpass what he was found guilty of.

Funny. If true, why hasn't she been indicted and convicted? Guilty until proven innocent? No due process? No Constitutional rights? Funny...

5 Wacky Conspiracy Theories From the Right About Hillary Clinton

We have to face reality regarding Republicans. They have completely given up on American democracy. The country is meaningless to them, the Constitution is meaningless, and the American people are meaningless.

The only thing the very few in power in the Republican party have decided is their political party and its politics are the only thing that matter. At all. They've given up on the founding fathers, on Abraham Lincoln, John F Kennedy, Dwight D Eisenhower, and any pretense that they believe in the three branches of government and each has their role in Constitutional government. They've made this clear. They will hold the entire government, the nation, and the American people hostage unless they get what they want.

That signals a party that has given up on democracy which functions by the votes of the people.

I've been a lifelong little i independent and have voted for a Republican if he looked liked he would do the best job. Those days are over. I will never vote Republican again. Ever. I hope the Republican party breaks apart into the true Libertarian Party, the Moderate Republican party, and the far right-wing Tea Bag whackos who can fade into history. It has to be one of the greatest jokes in politics in the last 100 years that Tea Baggers call themselves patriots when in fact they act at every turn to dismantle American democracy.

Republicans you are not Americans any more. You aren't. Your party is your only god, much like the Politburo was in the old Soviet Union.

CRAZY TOWN: GOP Rep. Ready To Impeach Hillary On Her First Day As President

How quickly they forget.

The groups of Democrat fanatics (and not just a few) who were circulating petitions to impeach GWB long before he even took office in 2001.

But now that one Republican is doing it, they are morally outraged all of a sudden.

Clearly these people don't mind impeaching. They don't care about it one way or another.

Their goal is simply to destroy Republicans, using whatever excuse they can find.

(yawn)

"CRAZY TOWN: GOP Rep. Ready To Impeach Hillary On Her First Day As President"

Crazy town, indeed.

The rabid, blind partisan right have gone completely off the rails, taking the GOP with it.

The likes of ‘Donald Trump’ as the party’s nominee is a symptom of that insanity.

It used to be that they argued their case, delayed some as the Democrats do sometimes, and then voted and conducted the country's business.

They've given up on this entirely. Their who view now is "we have the power to stop ANYTHING we don't want so nothing will get done. We don't have to do anything. They are government employees who refuse to work while getting paid $175,000 a year. Isn't that called welfare? These people don't work. Period. They are outraged at the thought of people making minimum wage getting a pay raise, but they are fine with all of them making 175k a year and doing nothing for it!

This isn't a political party anymore, it is a gathering of children who have a deep seated need to force other people to do things. If this isn't corrected in the next election or two democracy in this country is in trouble.

Republicans are not interested in doing nothing as much as they are interested in not inflicting further harm.
It's like obama wants to shoot you in the head. Obviously, GOP legislators are going to resist that, but Liberals seem pissed off that they can't get Republicans to agree to being stabbed in the heart.
