Yes they do. But having done volunteer work at many of these services, we can tell you, they give you subsistence food and is not long term dietary complete. These people are limited in access to good food.
Nearly all of them work, using public transportation as much as possible. No, they can’t just run out to the farmers markets, get organic foods and store it in their dedicated freezers.
