Court blocks drug for executions

Maybe they'll get back to the good ole days when they gassed, fried and hanged the bastards

For all of 11 days

State was trying to use up the drugs before they expire and they can't get more

The court ruling came because the drug manufacturer didn't want their drug used for executions.

This throws a wrench into plans for multiple executions.
I don't believe death penalty is really useful so maybe no country should have this kind of punishment but I don't understand why some countries and even some states in the US have death penalty but they don't execute...
Sad to say but without executions this penalty has no deterrent effects :(

I could be wrong on this, might be another case, but I believe there's one among this group who's ready to go so to speak. So can the court find a path to execution for him while still maintaining the blanket injunction. Or would that throw a wrench in the works.

I never understood why states moved away from simple rifles. Two or three 30-06 rounds through the chest at short range will most certainly do the trick quickly and painlessly. Personally, I'd choose that over drugs in a heartbeat, pun intended!
