"Political commentator and YouTuber Steven Crowder, 35, revealed that he and his wife, Hilary, 36, are getting a divorce after a decade of marriage. The online personality explained that Hilary filed for divorce sometime in 2021. I have been living with a proverbial boot on my neck for going on years now,' Crowder said. 'Since 2021, I've been living through what has increasingly been a horrendous divorce.' Steven Crowder is an American-Canadian conservative political commentator, media host, and "comedian" - his YouTube channel reportedly earns him $80,000 a month with ad and viewership revenue.

Crowder called it the most heartbreaking experience of his life and considers the divorce his 'deepest personal failure.' It is as yet not clear if the divorce has been finalized yet but Crowder says that it has been an issue that he has been dealing with for 'years.'And no, this was not my choice,' he added. 'My then-wife decided that she didn't want to be married anymore and in the state of Texas, that is completely permitted. That's not my choice, she simply wanted out and the law says that that's how it works."

Crowder brings up an interesting point. When he said the law allowed her wife to divorce, it almost seems like he believes the law should not allow that....that maybe it is best that women are not able to initiate a divorce, especially not without the permission of her husband. Why do you think the divorce rates are so high to begin with? Because we allowed these whores to get no-fault divorces...but there is something else going on here.....First we find out that Conservative super-hero, Dan Bongino gets fired...then we find out that another conservative super-hero, Tucker gets fired...and we all know that was the work of Biden...and then, we find out that yet another conservative super-hero is getting a divorce? All because his wife bought into Biden's anti-family/anti-marriage ideology??

And to add insult to injury, in an attempt to kick a man when he is down....his detractors are going around posting this video clip of Steven admitting that he had a short time where he battled bisexual demons.....as if to say, he is somehow a closeted gay man and that is why he is so obsessed with anti-gay and anti-trans rhetoric..go ahead and laugh now libtards....but Steven will have the last laugh when he successfully criminalizes transgenderism and gets Tucker's prime-time slot on Fox.

Women are incentivized by our laws to get divorced and take half the money, plus usually payments afterwards. A no-fault divorce should mean she gets nothing.
Most men get the shaft in a divorce and women usually get the gold mine. There should be a prenuptial agreement for every marriage.

Indeed. Remove the profit from divorce, and marriages will last longer. But the State also profits from divorce, and family courts; so good luck getting that changed anytime soon...

Children are not better off when the parents are in bad marriage, the kids are very negatively impacted by it.
Kids are emotionally damaged when the parents divorce. A two parent family provides stability.

Never heard of him. :dunno:

The state needs to get out of the marriage business altogether.

Why should the state give perks to certain sexual arrangements?

And why does one party deserve half of everything if only one works, etc.?

And why did you have to pay the state for a marriage license? What test did you have to take? LOL.

Marriage is a religious construct, and as such, should remain so. Only then will divorce numbers plummet because only those who are religious and serious about marriage in the eyes of God will do so.

Until then, we will continue to see 18-year-old girls marrying 90-year-old billionaires.

Damn, every now and then you actually get something right.

Each situation is different. Sometimes kids are affected negatively when parents that do not love each other stay together. Sometimes they are affected negatively when they divorce and one parent moves out.
In my case, we stayed together and focused on our kids. It worked, and although the kids knew our marriage was over, they felt good that we were maintaining a family unit until they were grown. This went on for seven years.
The important thing is IMO, is to be honest with the kids and not try to hide the fact that the marriage is over.

Kids are emotionally damaged when two parents that no longer love each other stay married.
The problem is that too many people get married for all the wrong reasons. Many get married too quickly without really getting to know the other person. Others look at it as a business agreement. True love means sacrificing for the other person's happiness and not for material gain. I am 33 and will be very careful before asking a woman to become my wife.

You put your kids first which is the right thing to do.

Well marriage rates are in decline. No surprise being that men are much better informed as to how the system games them. Men have historically been the gate keepers of marriage, and women the gatekeepers of sex. In this day and age there is precious little incentive for a man to put himself at such extraordinary risk, for something that is so casually, and freely given...

Why do they no longer love each other?

After having two children together one gets tired of playing house and wants to move on?

I guess this is just the shallow culture of liberalism that we live in

Men are being more cautious before entering into a commitment. Get to know a woman before considering marriage.

I agree that is the problem.

But quick marriages do not always fail. My wife and I met in a bar and 11 months later got married. We have been married only 3 years less than you have been alive and our marriage has never been stronger.

Too many married couples have a side piece which puts a strain on a relationship. Sex outside of marriage destroys intimacy.
