Phil Gramn snuck an amendment into a spending bill on the day before Christmas recess that deregulated the financial industry and helped create the $517 TRILLION DOLLAR derivative bubble that collapsed our economy.

The Republican destroyed America. Obama is rebuilding it.

More important than the names of people affiliated with neo-conservatism are the views they adhere to. Here is a brief summary of the general understanding of what neocons believe:

1. They agree with Trotsky on permanent revolution, violent as well as intellectual.
2. They are for redrawing the map of the Middle East and are willing to use force to do so.
3. They believe in preemptive war to achieve desired ends.
4. They accept the notion that the ends justify the means – that hard-ball politics is a moral necessity.
5. They express no opposition to the welfare state.
6. They are not bashful about an American empire; instead they strongly endorse it.
7. They believe lying is necessary for the state to survive.
8. They believe a powerful federal government is a benefit.
9. They believe pertinent facts about how a society should be run should be held by the elite and withheld from those who do not have the courage to deal with it.
10. They believe neutrality in foreign affairs is ill-advised.
11. They hold Leo Strauss in high esteem.
12. They believe imperialism, if progressive in nature, is appropriate.
13. Using American might to force American ideals on others is acceptable. Force should not be limited to the defense of our country.
14. 9-11 resulted from the lack of foreign entanglements, not from too many.
15. They dislike and despise libertarians (therefore, the same applies to all strict constitutionalists).
16. They endorse attacks on civil liberties, such as those found in the Patriot Act, as being necessary.
17. They unconditionally support Israel and have a close alliance with the Likud Party.

Seriously, I'm waiting to see what happens in the next 6-9 months between January and the beginning of the next election cycle. What does the new Congress do? Work towards taking down the spending/deficits or go on witch hunts? If the later, they will be removed along with any of those holdovers that go along with them.

They'll call for more tx breaks for corporations and billionaires, and cuts in all social spending, naturally.

Well, we'll start by taking even more power.

The far left being exposed has scared the shit out of the American people.

America was founded by people who don't want to be controlled. The American gene pool is populated with family trees that are rooted in rebels. And not just white folk. African Americans who were slaves rebelled from that oppression and won. Hispanics are fleeing oppression. Immigrants from Europe and Asia also.

Government oppression is something that the gene pool of America is not accepting. It's in our blood.

And Obama, Pelosi and the radical left exposed their dream, which is a massive, government takeover of the lives of Americans. It scared America. And America is waking up and rejecting it. Soccer moms who never followed politics are now screaming at the TV when Fox and MSNBC are on, and they are voting. College kids who are realizing their taxes are gonna be massive just to keep the debt from exploding are realizing that their futures are more important than feeling warm and tingly about voting for the cool president.

The left wing ideology has been squarely rejected by the American people, and it's left a big scar we won't forget.

The new folks in office will screw up too. It's what politicians do. But power will never be given back to the radical left.

Note, I said GOP, not conservatives, and I said the House. So that insane HC law will keep it's funding. It has already caused rates to increase, drastically and will keep doing so. THAT failure by libs and progs will help lead to a crushing defeat in 2012. We will be reminded of your insanity each and every month we have to pay that bill, just so life is fair.

You have no businessmen creating jobs in your party. Unemployment will run out, and it will dawn on the world that you do not care about jobs, you only care about crushing the economy to force people to vote your way. It won't work, the average American has way more pride than the average lib and WAY WAY more than any prog.

If we got rid of that useless chunk of the fed, schools might compete for students and you know that would lead to very competant schools that put our world leaders that know enough not to vote for the dumb asses on the left, b/c they earned everything they have and don't need it handed to them.
