Companies boycotting NRA

The NRA is not a political organization. In fact they are tax exempt. They do support the people that support their cause which is the second amendment. But if you go to open secrets, you will find they have donated to candidates of both parties.

Hilarious.

That, of course, explains Wayne LaPierre's speech at CPAC telling people to be scared of socialism.

Was he wrong?

The NRA is a gun group that represents millions of Americans that support gun rights. They are not a political group no more than the AMA or the teachers unions. All kinds of professions and groups support the Democrat party as well, but that doesn't mean their group is political in the sense it's why they are there.

are you retarded or what?

Socialism is a socioeconomic ideology that has nothing to do with gun ownership.

The NRA is promoting an ideology, which is by definition political.

Politics isn’t just which party one supports.

Oh, I see! So what you are saying is that Hollywood is a political organization and not an entertainment organization.

except for the fact that hollywood isn't monolithic and provides entertainment, you nailed it, raybo

kudos

So all the NRA provides is a politics? Then you wonder why we refer to your kind as the Uninformed Voter?

I'm sure some of you will support these companies, some may not. Pretty sure I will not be doing business with any of these companies anytime soon.

For these liberals, for all liberals, a mark of authenticity is celebrity retweets. from your article...

"As the companies ended their agreements, their tweets went viral on social media platforms such as Twitter, garnering tens of thousands of retweets. "

Understand that in the context of Twitter's campaign to eject conservatives from it's platform. The wikileaks emails showed Hillary campaign staffers discussing turning media into "echo chambers" for Marxists.

"Progressive Media will serve as a communications and messaging nerve center for the progressive movement. We will create a robust echo chamber with messaging that spans from independent groups, to progressive partisans, to grassroots organizers, to the netroots. We will align messaging across broadcast and cable TV, radio, print, Internet, single-issue and advocacy organizations, progressive media, surrogates and new media. "

Re: DRAFT launch statement for progressive media - WikiLeaks

And, from the same Podesta email..

"Breaking through the clutter of the modern media environment with a progressive message requires repetition of common themes from different sources organized by a central apparatus"

Pure Propaganda. Those that can't recognize it deserve their slavery.
The plan is simply following what the Republicans over the years have perfected!!! Too bad the democratic party are so crappy at it.....especially with the new media.....the internet.....republicans are leaps and bounds ahead of democrats still with using all of their internet sites to send out the same message....or tweeting by the president to get all of their sites spilling his message.

Whoops. Wrong again:

Democrats consume more media than Republicans, most of it online
I'm not wrong! :D

And hours watching the news or reading the press has nothing to do with what I was saying.... I was talking about the ''all on the same page, with the same message, and pounding it and spreading it.''

So your watching television and reading the press is more credible than the Washington Examiner? Alrighty then.

No, here is what you said:

Too bad the democratic party are so crappy at it.....especially with the new media.....the internet.....republicans are leaps and bounds ahead of democrats still with using all of their internet sites to send out the same message

How can the Democrats be so "crappy" with the manipulation of the internet when most of their constituents are getting their information from it? Your claim was that the Republicans have one up on the Democrats in our "new media" abilities. They don't. They dominate that like they do every other outlet outside of AM radio.

and?

it was a stupid reality show that comes and goes by the season, not really tied to politics as you're trying to do here.

Do try to keep up. The OP said that sponsors went back to DD after people complained about their homophobic nonsense. Um. No. The show was cancelled, and they found some other white trash to do a reality TV show about.

Democrats have four broadcast networks with hundreds of affiliate stations, at least four cable news networks, 90% of the newspapers and several hundred if not thousands of "regurgitating internet media sites" and idiot blogs, plus a plethora of Euro-based media from which the Dems steal all their ideas in the first place.

first, two of those networks don't have very big news operations. The other two, NBC is biased one way on MSNBC, but biased the other way on CNBC. CNN tries to play it down the middle, but they lean a little left and try to maintain some journalistic integrity.

Sadly, reality has a liberal bias.

Except the National Rampage Association doesn't represent Americans, it represents the gun industry.

Then there must be over 5 million gun industries because that's how many members they have.

Out of 300 million americans? That's not that impressive.

It's the gun industry telling them what their policy is, not the inbred morons who give them money.

How would the gun industry be able to tell them anything? Why would the NRA care what they think?

If the NRA didn't appeal to their members, they would be out of business.

Oh, I'm sure they do "appeal" to the small dicked racists who done think they need them some guns in case the darkies show up.

And then they make sure the darkies get lots of guns, too.

Oh, is that what they are doing?

A conspiracy would be them doing it quietly.

They do this pretty much out in the open. Or do you think it's a coincidence there's a gun store on every corner in the inner city?

So I'm person that wants to start my own business and I decide on a gun store. WTF do gun manufacturers or the NRA have to do with my decision?

I don't know how it is in murder land, but here in Ohio, all our gun stores are in the suburbs or out in the country. I'm not aware of any gun stores in the ghetto. First of all, most people there can't afford new guns. Secondly, too many felons live in the inner-city and can't buy one. Third, gun store smash and grabs go on all the time. It would be happening every week with a gun store in the ghetto

I think the problem is your OCD is making you imagine things. You are so obsessed with race and racism it's all you see no matter what you're looking at. I'd be willing to bet that even where you live, gun stores are non-eixitant or very rare in lower income neighborhoods. Who would open up a gun store where there are no customers?

Cleveland has a higher per capita murder rate than Chicago does, stupid.

Chicago Still Isn’t the Murder Capital of America

Not going to go with your anecdotes, since this is less believable than "I can't possibly get health insurance thanks to Obama".

This Is How Chicago Gets Flooded With Illegal Guns

Chicago Still Isn’t the Murder Capital of America

That's because of this stupid:

The racial makeup of the city in 2010 was 45.3% white (31.7% non-Hispanic white), 32% black, 5% Asian, and 3% from two or more races. The ethnic makeup of the population is 28% Hispanic and 72% belong to non Hispanic background.

Demographics of Chicago - Wikipedia

Blacks are about 52 percent of Cleveland. Most live in areas in the Eastside of Cleveland. Areas immediately south and west of downtown also have notable black populations. There is also a small West Indian population.

So what's the point of this article and my claim that there are no gun shops in the inner-city?
