Watched the pilot and I'm not quite sure its real. Seems much too dangerous and freaky for your run-of-the-mill reality show.

According to NBC.com there was an air date of 6/25/13. I don't recall it being advertised. I found out about it through HULU.

IMO, it's a drama made to look like a reality show.

Damn, i was thinking of this when the original survivor came out.

The premise, 10 people, 5 cameras, Siberia.

Give them weapons, surivial gear, and enough food for 1 of the 3 months they are out there. Attach GPS's to thier clothing. If the GPS's stop moving for more than a week prior to the end of the show....

ah, well go retrive the cameras.
