Men's races in Garmisch canceled due lack of snow

GARMISCH-PARTENKIRCHEN, Germany (AP) — A men's World Cup downhill and a giant slalom scheduled for Feb. 1-2 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen have been moved to St. Moritz because there is no snow in the southern German resort.

Apparently it's because the oceans are not warm enough. Warm oceans cause snow. If there isn't enough global warming, you won't get any snow.
