Clearing Up the Lie that Israel Started the 6 Day War

The only fact is, Israel started the war. Can't you bozos ever resign yourselves to the facts. You are always pulling out some sort of rationalization. It's like the who cold cocks a passerby on the street and tells the police, well, "he reached in his pocket". It's still f_cking assault you clowns.

"At precisely 8 a.m. on June 5, 1967, virtually the entire Israeli air force streaked into Egyptian airspace simultaneously. Some aircraft entered from Israel's Negev desert to the east, some directly from major Israeli bases to the northeast, and hundreds from the Mediterranean to the north and northwest.......Today what is clear is that the Israelis wanted war, Egypt did not, the Soviets could have prevented it, and the Americans should have."

So no answer why Egypt removed the UN Peacekeepers, initiated war by violating international waters, and why Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria all had their armies massed on the border of Israel while publicly calling for the extermination of the Jewish people.
Thought so.

You're not going to get one; there's nobody home. Kicking the UN forces out and deliberately blocking the Straits of Tiran, the UN doing NOTHING after Israel went to them , Jordan firing at Israelis from the Golan Heights in an acting AGGRESSION Forgot to mention one thing: prior to them initiating the War Nasser was bragging how they were going to destroy Israel once and for all WHEN they went to war. The Arabs initiated the Warand got their ASS kicked !

Actually Syria fired at them from the Golan Heights. Jordan bombarded West Jerusalem.

Israel clearly did not want the US government to know too much about its dispositions for attacking Syria, initially planned for June 8, but postponed for 24 hours. It should be pointed out that the attack on the Liberty occurred on June 8, whereas on June 9 at 3 am, Syria announced its acceptance of the cease-fire. Despite this, at 7 am, that is, four hours later, Israel's minister of defense, Moshe Dayan, "gave the order to go into action against Syria."

Bottom line: Israel threw the first punch, but they were backed into a corner and there was no way out.

So we're talking about a technicality vs. the reality. However, Israel only attacked Egypt first, whereas Syria and Jordan attacked Israel first on their own.

No, ForeverDumb436, history does not support these ridiculous claims.

This thread supposedly clearing up the lie that Israel started the 6 day war has done nothing of the sort, and in fact, has shown the exact opposite.

Total fail!

Six Day War: Shaping the Modern Middle East

In the Six Day War of June 1967, Israel defeated the combined armies of Egypt, Syria and Jordan, capturing the West Bank, East Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula. For Israel, it was a stunning triumph; for Arabs, a humiliating defeat.

Oddly, the Arabs-Moslems came back for more.... with the same result.

For Israel, it was a stunning triumph; for Arabs, [again -ed.] a humiliating defeat.

Another lie from a Pro Palestinian. The Facts are that Egypt ordered the UN out of the area and the Arabs initiated the War by blocking the Straits of Tiran.. Nice try, Pro Palestinian Kool Aid drinker but total fail !!!!

I have noticed that the 'electronic intifada' brigade has been asked numerous times in this thread about Egypt kicking out the UN and their blockade of the straits of Tiran.

I hope it is not lost on any of the readers that the only reply(s) have been either deflections, or mainly:

CRICKETS!

The moron, Teddy claims that Israeli blockades are lawful while other blockades are illegal. Is the Gaza blockade legal Teddy?

Asking that UN observers leave for their own safety is not an act of war. In fact, recently declassified intelligence reports from the Polish archives show that the Russians believed that Israel would attack Syria then Egypt and this was relayed to the Egyptians who, as the CIA has confirmed, set up defensively to meet an Israeli attack.

But don't let the facts get in the way you Hasbara shill.

"Brezhnev's report shows that Moscow had no intention of inciting an armed conflict in the Middle East and that the June 1967 war was the result of grave miscalculations and of Soviet inability to control the Arabs, rather than a conspiracy. The brief documents that throughout April-May, 1967, the Kremlin suspected that Israel was planning an act of aggression against Syria. Determined to forestall the Israeli offensive and to rescue the new radical-left regime in Damascus, the Soviet government informed Egypt that Israel had mobilized its armed forces on the border with Syria. By doing so, Moscow hoped to manipulate Nasser into assisting Syria by concentrating his armed forces on Egypt's border with Israel. The Kremlin estimated mistakenly, as if turned out – that Israel was militarily weak and could not cope with a war on two fronts. Subsequently, Moscow consented to the ejection of United Nations (UN) peacekeeping forces from outposts on the Israeli-Egyptian border, and to the concentration of Egyptian troops on the Sinai Peninsula and the Gaza Strip. - See more at: The Soviet Union And The Six-Day War: Revelations From The Polish Archives

Polish document describing the speech given by Soviet Leader Leonid Brezhnev to the Plenum of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CC CPSU) on the actions undertaken by the Soviet leadership before and during the 1967 Arab-Israeli war. Brezhnev tells the CC CPSU plenum that the Arab struggle in the Middle East has both a class struggle and a national liberation dimension. Brezhnev blames Israeli aggression for the start of the war and Arab blunders and low morale for the humiliating defeat of the UAR forces.

The document is dated 20 June 1967, the war ended on the night of 10th.
It's Soviet propaganda to wash their hands.

Of course it's propaganda, just as the CIA report that says the same thing. Only Jew propaganda can be believed. Grow up, Hasbara tool.

You people are hilarious.

Does the CIA report say Israelis were planning to attack before the UN removal and the straits thing?
