Ballot botch: Coulter votes in wrong precinct
Palm Beach Post ^ | Wednesday, February 15, 2006 | Jose Lambiet

Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections records show Coulter voted last week in Palm Beach's council election. Problem is, she cast her ballot in a precinct 4 miles north of the precinct where she owns a home --- and that could be a big no-no.

Coulter, who owns a $1.8 million crib on Seabreeze Avenue, should have voted in Precinct 1198. It covers most homes on her street. Instead, records show, she voted in Precinct 1196, at the northern tip of the island.

Here's the sticky part for The Right's Lady Macbeth: She wrote down an Indian Road address instead of Seabreeze on her voter's registration application. And she signed to certify the information as true.

"She never lived here," said Suzanne Frisbie, owner of the Indian Road home. "I'm Ann's Realtor, and she used this address to forward mail when she moved from New York."

Weird, you mean the conservatives in Florida didn't indict or prosecute a conservative who clearly lied and committed fraud? Weird right?

Nope, no voter fraud for Democrats!

The Gateway Pundit ^

They don’t even try to hid their lawlessness anymore. A vulgar, violent Democratic operative was caught on tape stuffing a ballot box. The man dropped a large box of hundreds of early ballots on the table and started stuffing the ballot box....

These were illegal type votes and not some kind of absentee ones he was authorized to put into the pool of other votes? If actual fraud he should have his hands chopped off with a rusty spoon. If authorized, the ones misrepresenting it should have their tongues pulled out with a pair of rusty pliers. :)

A lot of Republicans complain about voter fraud. Indiana Secretary of State Charlie White actually committed it

So long as you’re a Republican, you won’t spend any time in jail for voter fraud. And, if you’re Charlie White, Indiana’s lucky, now-former Republican secretary of state who received just one year of home detention for all of those crimes, you’ll likely be “elated,” just as White was after his sentencing hearing last week.

Conviction in GOP voter-suppression scheme

Paul E. Schurick, the 2010 campaign manager for former Maryland governor Robert L. Ehrlich Jr., was convicted Tuesday by a Baltimore jury of four counts stemming from a robocall that prosecutors said was intended to suppress the black vote.

Fortunately, other members of the former Republican governor’s team will also stand trial for their role.

The irony is, the fraud Republicans are worried about is imaginary, while the real-world fraud is coming from their side of the political divide.

A major probe by the Justice Department between 2002 and 2007 failed to prosecute a single person for going to the polls and impersonating an eligible voter, which the anti-fraud laws are supposedly designed to stop.

Out of the 300 million votes cast in that period, federal prosecutors convicted only 86 people for voter fraud – and many of the cases involved immigrants and former felons who were simply unaware of their ineligibility.

A much-hyped investigation in Wisconsin, meanwhile, led to the prosecution of only .0007 percent of the local electorate for alleged voter fraud.

"Our democracy is under siege from an enemy so small it could be hiding anywhere," joked Stephen Colbert.
No, the Dems like to count only federal cases, not state cases. And on top of that, unless you can find a person that admits to fraud, how can you charge them? Only if someone literally checks the legal status of every single vote, and check with every person on a list as to whether they actually voted or not, and only on absentee ballots do you have a name to go with the ballots.

Weird, you don't know voter ID's the conservatives/GOP are pushing for voter suppression efforts, ONLY stops in person voter impersonation. Is there a epidemic I'm unaware of going on and if so, why couldn't the Bush DOJ's 5 year investigation where they fired prosecutors BECAUSE they wouldn't trump up crap, not find anything? lol

Oh we are supposed to 'believe' there is voter fraud, BECAUSE you 'believe it'?

A new nationwide analysis of 2,068 alleged election-fraud cases since 2000 shows that while fraud has occurred, the rate is infinitesimal, and in-person voter impersonation on Election Day, which prompted 37 state legislatures to enact or consider tough voter ID laws, is virtually non-existent.

Paul Weyrich, "father" of the right-wing movement and co-founder of the Heritage Foundation, Moral Majority and various other groups tells his flock that he doesn't want people to vote. He complains that fellow Christians have "Goo-Goo Syndrome": Good Government. Classic clip from 1980. This guy still gives weekly strategy sessions to Republicans nowadays. The entire dialog from the clip:

"Now many of our Christians have what I call the goo-goo syndrome — good government. They want everybody to vote. I don't want everybody to vote. Elections are not won by a majority of people, they never have been from the beginning of our country and they are not now. As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down."

What Ann Coulter SHOULD Have Tweeted: 'I Committed ACTUAL Voter Fraud'

Is Coulter a male-to-female transgender? Pretty masculine looking face.

Why would she tweet a lie, fuckwad?

Lying is what you filthy pukes do.

Palm Beach officials ruled her registration valid. Oh and before you spew your stupidity, Palm Beach is a left wing community.

Coulter was investigated for voter fraud before. In Florida. In 2006. Palm Beach County received a complaint that she knowingly voted in the wrong precinct while giving an incorrect address. It took nine months to clear her. Or is that what happened? Not really. The Palm Beach County Sheriff concluded that there was insufficient cause to determine if Coulter willfully violated voting laws. “Willfully.” So she did but not on purpose? Sounds legit, right?

Where does Ann Coulter live? Is it New York City, which she gives as her address? Or is it New Canaan, Connecticut where her parents live… and where she voted in 2002 and 2004? The NY Daily News reports that Ann is being investigated for voting fraudulently at the behest of private investigator Joseph Culligan.
Property records put her home in New York City in 2003, on E. 82nd Street. We know this because she was sued for allegedly not paying her rent to the tune of $11,208 while buying a $1.5 million condo the same year. Yet she voted in New Canaan. Curious.

But this new complaint could be serious business. In a generic statement about voting, Connecticut state staff attorney Theodore Bromley said that

“…a registered Connecticut voter must list a residence address in the state where you actually live. It is not enough to claim a relative’s house where you may visit.”

Knowingly voting in the wrong precinct is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison.

Anderson's office received a complaint in February that Coulter voted in the wrong precinct during a Feb. 7 Palm Beach town council election.

Anderson said a letter was sent to Coulter on March 27 requesting that she clarify her address for the voting records "or face the possibility of her voter registration being rescinded." Three more letters were sent to Coulter and her attorney, but she has yet to respond with the information requested, Anderson said.

Conservatives, ALWAYS for a more intrusibve Gov't when it's NOT needed

300+ million votes Bush's DOJ looked at and found ZERO to prosecute on voter impersonation. I guess he was just more inept than even I thought with this HUGE fukkking conservative idea that we have roving gangs impersonating people at the polls!

.It's amazing. You can show liberals video of Democrats stuffing ballot boxes and they stand there and tell you it didn't happen.

Stuffing? How? You realize EACH ballot will need to be signed right?
In California ballots are never signed. There is no place on the ballot for a signature.

And signing would violate the traditional "Secret ballot" procedure that is at the heart of every election.

Where do you get the notion that "ballots must be signed"?

(Takes care of that Democrat dodge)
Yes, they have to be signed. You don't think this wasn't investigated do you? Check out this news report on the story. Again, the right wing is just acting childish and trying to twist the truth to support their lies. Maricopa County ballot box mixup - ABC15 Arizona
