The point I'm trying to make is that we don't paint heterosexuals with a "pedophile" brush because some pedophiles go after little girls and I don't believe it's accurate or fair to paint homosexuals with that brush because some pedophiles go after little boys.

I would venture that it's because, to certain people, "normal" heterosexuals are not viewed as "wrong" or "sick" or "sinners" or whatever the right word is, where as pedophiles of either persuasion and gays are.

Statistics show that homosexuals as a percentage of population commit vastly more pedophilia than heterosexuals, I am not painting homos all with the same brush merely pointing out that if you associate with queers and have children your chances of pedophilia happening are vastly increased.

Its simple if homos are 1-3% of the population and for the sake of argument 30% have committed pedophilia and 30% of heteros have committed pedophilia then the percentage of homo pedophiles is astronomical compared to heteros. The statistics bare this out.

You keep misrepresenting the facts. The fact that 10% of PEDOPHILES are homosexual pedophiles does not mean that 10% of homosexuals are pedophiles any more than the fact that 90% of PEDOPHILES are heterosexual means that 90% of heterosexuals are pedophiles. If you really want to talk about probability, the chances that a child will come into contact with a heterosexual pedophile are 9 to 1 over them coming into contact with a homosexual pedophile. And, since 3 times as many girls are molested as boys, the odds are 3 to 1 that a young girl will be molested versus a boy. The bottom line is that if you have kids, you need to remain aware of who they are being left alone with whether they are boys or girls.

The demographics of your investigations don't necessarily represent nationwide averages. While interesting, it proves nothing, especially tendencies.

Regardless of where those cases were from, unless you can prove that they represented an exactly proportioned sampling of all the pedophile cases from across the country, then the fact that 60% of the cases you were given were homosexual pedophiles has no bearing on anything other than the percentages of your cases.

It would be like you being given 10 murder cases to investigate. Out of the 10 cases, 6 murders took place in Detroit. It would not make any sense to claim that based on those numbers, that the murder rate in Detroit is 600% higher than anywhere else in the country.

Actually I think the point he might have been making was that, of the number of pedophiles, 30% of them are homosexual men and 30% are heterosexual men. It's the only logical explanation I can come up with, but I don't know what happened to the other 40%, pehaps they are female pedophiles.

Using that logic, if there are 100 total pedophiles, 30 which are homosexual male and 30 which are heterosexual male, the 30 homosexual males do represent a larger portion of the homosexual population than the the 30 heterosexual males.

Again, please don't flame me as a sympathizer, I'm just guessing this is the point he was trying to make. I have no idea if the statistic is accurate or not.

you are arguing semantics...I gave you a sampling of 500 cases for a given time period of which 65% were in fact homosexual males...spread out across the nation...this is a sampling only... based on first hand experience in these types of cases...so far I have not seen a better comparrison given in here by the opposition...just % numbers thrown out randomly and or from various sites(links) Your analogy of the ten murder cases just proved my point... if in a given time period 6 out of the ten occurred in Detroit...well my friend according to stats... 60% of murders occur in Detroit!
