Bush told the current president he was pleased to know "that when you are wandering these halls as you wrestle with tough decisions, you will now be able to gaze at this portrait and ask, `What would George do?'"

It's hard to escape the irony in this statement, as if anyone would ask his advice. When I look at this picture, I actual feel a bit sorry for Bush. He didn't have the makings of a president and he certainly wasn't prepared for the role he was dealt. However, as the Bible says, where little is given little is required. Considering his ideological beliefs, I think he did the best he could do. He looks as if he's aged 25 years in last 12.
