Can the Northern US, specifically Alaska as well as our Russian allies benefit from Global Warming?

If we ever do finally get the Global Warming we've been promised for decades, even though half of Florida will be underwater and various catastrophes will have undoubtedly occurred, will the Northern parts of the US, particularly Alaska benefit? Also, will Russia benefit?

I've been told since the 1980s that Global Warming is on the cusp of making Canada "the breadbasket of the world". Will the US be able to compete against them in regards to agriculture once the prophecy finally comes true?

Will Alaska benefit? Nope. There will be lots of damage done to Alaska, even worse than what is happening. The warming temps have melted a lot of the permafrost, and erosion on the shoreline is increasing at an alarming rate.

Then, there is the fact that there are pockets of methane (a greenhouse gas) caught in the permafrost, and when it melts, the methane is released into the air, resulting in faster warming.

And, if you check the lobster fishers in Maine, they are becoming concerned that the water off their shores is getting warmer, resulting in the lobster migrating north to colder water.

Looks like the inevitable predictions they keep pushing farther and farther back have got all the bases covered. Everyone will suffer without the New Green Deal.
