I can see both sides of it, I guess. Sure, fans want to be able to get tickets as affordably as possible. On the other hand, if there are fans out there with deep pockets, there's nothing wrong with going after those.

I'm saying this as someone who hasn't paid for a concert ticket in almost 20 years: I'm glad I like the cheap seats. For me, the crowd becomes part of the show. I remember when Tom Petty was touring in support of "Full Moon Fever". I had some of the worst seats in the San Diego Sports Arena, but the show I saw was absolutely incredible.

My understanding is that resellers are getting over $15,000 for floor seats for Taylor Swift. Not asking that, but actually getting that.

That's just absurd...

But there is no band, ever I'd pay 5000 to see. It was tough to see ghost for 80 bucks and brit Floyd for 100.
