Boston's New Jobs Program - Whites Banned!!!

I still don;t see the big deal with this, other than it is a great idea that should help Boston's situation....and citizens....

This is not an affirmative action program by the Federal Government.....

.

No one said it was from the feds. The city is doing this. How does that make it right? THINK

There are plenty of things that the City of Boston spends their citizen's tax monies on that don't benefit everyone...like the St Patrick's Day Parade for the Irish....do you think this money spent n this Irish celebration helps the people of color in the City....NO it doesn't.....

YES it does. People of all races and ethnicities take part in Boston's St. Paddy's Day celebrations.

And hundreds of thousands in the city DON'T participate, yet the city still provides the Parade with ALL of the citizen's tax monies.... Looks like it is a 'give and take' situation...sometimes it helps you specifically, sometimes it doesn't....

Let me count the ways....it mentors disadvantaged youth in how to get hired for a job, how to interview, how to fill out an application.... it builds confidence.

If and when they are hired, it keeps them off the street...

It would lower crime levels, probably lower gang recruitment as well....

it could lower the city's welfare costs, and healthcare costs with the employers providing health care, instead of the city or State.

It is a helping hand, not a handout....it is teaching them how to fish, not just giving them their daily fish.

Not because I say so, because it is so. I'm there every year, are you? People of every race and ethnicity enjoy the parade and celebrations across the city (this includes of course the governor of the state, you idiot).

Stop talking out your ass.

The parade is funded by corporate sponsors and communities local to the actual parade route (which brings big $$ in additional revenue to those communities every year, idiot). Just how stupid are you?

You don't even understand the issue. A program to help people find work is fine. The issue is why are whites banned from using the program. THINK

Congress doesn't decide something to be unconstitutional, the courts do. The legislative branch is NOT the most powerful branch. We have a system of checks and balances that make all three branches of government completely and exactly equal--as it should be.

.

HAHAHAHA. You idiot. So who acts as a check on the supreme court.? THINK

The executive branch. It is their prerogative whether or not to enforce the decisions of the Supreme Court.

Or do you believe that Andrew Jackson is the worst president in American history? President Obama has complied with all Supreme Court rulings during his term, whereas Jackson didn't. So, in the event that you disagree with the objective, indisputable fact that the executive branch checks the power of the judicial branch by choosing whether or not to enforce judicial decisions, Andrew Jackson must necessarily be the single worst president we've ever had, correct?
