I appreciate and honor your service. I did not serve.
I do admit you have a stake and understanding of freedom that I do not have.
But I disagree with much that you say. Many people who served support Democratic candidates or Bloomberg. They are not Marxists and you know it. There is a big difference between supporting Bloomberg and being a Marxist.
Freedom means you can support Bloomberg and not be falsely called a Marxist. People who served like you and support Bloomberg should not be called a Marxist.

I have never met an enlisted man that supported a Democrat president. Not one in 20 years. That doesn't mean they're not out there. I'm sure there are. But a very small percentage. Military personnel don't support Democrats because Democrats don't support the military. It's that simple.

And can we agree that Democrats are basically socialists? Do socialists not strive for a government-controlled society? A government-controlled economy? Can we not agree that individual freedom, liberty, and property rights can - and will - take a back seat to this kind of utopian idealism? If this isn't Marxism, it's pretty damn close.

I believe your assessment is incorrect. Socialism does not allow privately owned businesses. The stock market increased 160% while Obama was President. That could not happen under a socialist. Bernie Sanders is close to a socialist but you cannot paint all Democrats with the same brush.
After Obama's 2 terms, 36% of military approved of his performance. Granted, not as popular as most Republicans but not horrible.
I think you should reassess your views of non-Trump supporters and not paint all non-Trump supporters with the same brush.
Some socialist reforms in our government are not all bad, public schools, social security, medicare. Too much socialism is not good.
