Black unemployment reaches new low

Interesting and thanks for the headsup. We don't have to stop w/ the likes of the Washington Post, we can look at the hard numbers:

--and this is confirmed, that the "Black or AfricanAmercan" unemployment rate is indeed at an all time low. This is further confirmed by looking at the emplyment/population ratio--

--showing that most "Black or AfricanAmerican" individuals are both in the workforce and employed. This is good, no way around it. My hope is that perhaps we might see a repairing of the family unit also.

Data is fleeting, the economy is always changing, but this is interesting:
Taking a look at the USA Household stats 2022March -2023March

According to those stats:
Whites Employment ratio.......60.2% to 60.2%
Black Employment ratio..........58.2% to 60.9%
Hispanic Employment ratio....63.7% to 63.7%
Asian Employment ratio..........62.3% to 63.1%

Interestingly it is only the Black and Asian community that shows an actual employment increase in the past 12 month

So what are the reasons?
If due to an increase in low salary jobs - why is there no increase for the White and Hispanic community?
If due to an increase in higher salary jobs - why is there no increase for the White and Hispanic community?

Strange isn't it?
Could it be that US companies receive e.g. tax benefits or premiums for hiring members of the Black and Asian community?
Could it be that government benefits for the Black and Asian community have been cut down - so as to force members of the Black and Asian community to look for jobs?

Looking forward to some clarifying explanations - thanks

But Blacks only made up 13% of the workforce last year. I really would have thought the representation would have been higher.

From the OP's article:
"Black workers made up about 13 percent of the U.S. workforce last year, Census Bureau data shows, but they have an outsize presence in service-sector jobs that recently experienced large gains. Additionally, health care and social assistance programs, restaurants and bars, and the government — all of which tend to disproportionately hire Black workers — added roughly 50,000 jobs apiece in March."
