Rep Gowdy: Obama Dispersing Benghazi Survivors Around US and Changing Their Names

What will it take for those with knowledge to come forward? Who are these people being put in a corner and even having their name changed? Why do they fear Obama so much when clearly they apparently have some power over this administration for them to hide witnesses of the Benghazi attack. Isn’t all of this cloak and dagger not an admission of guilt by the imperial regime?

As CNN reported today there were dozens of CIA operatives on the ground, surely there is one who has a soul to come forward and speak their mind? Or are they so intimidated by the now widespread polygraph testing that they will stay silent instead of honoring their oath?!

This is very troubling to learn, we can only hope at the least it may encourage another Edward Snowden to come forward!

Report: Obama admin has issued threats against the Benghazi whistleblowers?

For months now, Republican lawmakers have been wondering about the status of the survivors of last September’s terrorist attack in Benghazi that resulted in the death of four Americans, and why it is that Congress has not been afforded more access to them. In March, Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested that the Obama administration was engaged in specifically blocking access to these witnesses, and that the witnesses had even been told to “keep quiet” — a notion that the administration blithely dismissed and Democrats once more pooh-poohed as the mere partisan pish-tosh of those petty Republicans.

The latest update from Fox News, however, reports that at least four career officials from the State Department and CIA are lawyering up as they prepare to provide “sensitive” information about the Benghazi attack to Congress, and that Obama administration officials have served some of these witnesses with not-so-subtle hints about the consequences of coming forward: Nice career you’ve got there. Shame if anything were to happen to it.

Victoria Toensing, a former Justice Department official and Republican counsel to the Senate Intelligence Committee, is now representing one of the State Department employees. She told Fox News her client and some of the others, who consider themselves whistle-blowers, have been threatened by unnamed Obama administration officials.

“I’m not talking generally, I’m talking specifically about Benghazi – that people have been threatened,” Toensing said in an interview Monday. “And not just the State Department. People have been threatened at the CIA.” …

“It’s frightening, and they’re doing some very despicable threats to people,” she said. “Not ‘we’re going to kill you,’ or not ‘we’re going to prosecute you tomorrow,’ but they’re taking career people and making them well aware that their careers will be over [if they cooperate with congressional investigators].” …

Rep. Darrell Issa, the Republican from California who chairs the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wrote to Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday to complain that the department has not provided a process by which attorneys like Toensing can receive the security clearances necessary for them to review classified documents and other key evidence.

Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy said on Sunday that more Benghazi hearings are coming in short order — and that he thinks they’re likely showcase some “explosive” revelations (if, that is, the media should condescend to take notice in any other capacity than the ever-dismissive, “My, these Republicans are certainly determined to discredit Hillary Clinton!”):

Administration Tells Benghazi Witnesses to Keep Quiet

Posted by Tad Cronn in

According to Sen. Lindsey Graham, our government is telling witnesses to the September 11 attack on a U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, to keep silent about what they know.

Some jobs require an oath of secrecy, particularly certain positions in the military, law enforcement or intelligence fields that may expose a person to genuine national secrets.

Then there are those situations where you might be sworn to secrecy but it just doesn't feel right, like when the school bully warns you not to rat him out to the principal after taking your lunch money.

Congressional staff members who have been investigating Benghazi believe there are 33 eyewitnesses who have for all intents and purposes "vanished." The White House has not come forward with a list of names and won't tell members of Congress who or where the survivors are.

White House spokesman Jay Carney has denied that the Administration is interfering with the Benghazi investigation, saying, "I'm sure that the White House is not preventing anyone from speaking."

He's believable because it's perfectly normal that 33 witnesses to an embarrassing international incident wouldn't make a peep in our media-saturated modern world. After all, it's not like any major media outlets would be so hungry for ratings that they would grant anonymity to a source who was fearful for his job, career, family, life or whatever. That never happens.

Graham for some reason is just being stubborn when he doesn't accept Carney's excuses.

"The bottom line is they feel that they can’t come forth, they’ve been told to be quiet," Graham told Fox News.

"We cannot let this administration or any other administration get away with hiding from the American people and Congress, people who were there in real time to tell the story," he added.

At least one witness, a CIA agent, was visited in the hospital by Secretary of State John Kerry, and possibly Hillary Clinton. I'm sure they were just checking on the fellow.

Other Republicans, like Rep. Dana Rohrbacher, are just as convinced as Graham that the Administration is still hiding something from the media and Congress.

It's hard to imagine what, since so much information has been leaked to the New Media regarding Benghazi and how the U.S. "mission" was actually a gun-running operation to fuel the fighting in Syria. It's also known that the U.S. screwed up by relying on al-Qaida-linked mercenaries to overthrow Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

At least it's known to the global media and the New Media -- just not the lame-stream media like NBC.

We should urge Sen. Graham and other conservative representatives to keep pressing for answers.

Since there are no scandals, according to the left anyway. One has to wonder why the survivors were made to sign NDA's and why all those CIA folks are being polygraphed.

WOW whole lot of secret bs going on for No Scandals.

"President Romney Dispersing Benghazi Survivors Around US and Changing Their Names. Democrats Outraged. Call for Senate Hearings".

American Politics is the Ultimate Divide and Conquer game.

Look, who cares about Stevens? Obviously the liberal left doesn't so why should anyone else care about another gay man that was dragged through the street and killed? The left certainly does not.

As I have said before, the crime to which there is no denial is Obama's kill list and the drone program. But apparently the left doesn't care because Obama usually protects gays and the right doesn't care because they like long range killing of brown people, American or not.

why are we surprised that secret agents are being forced to keep their secret work a secret?

These are not secret agents.

Please stop drinking the Kool-Aid.

so you believe that secretly moving missils via turkey to assist syrian rebels is fodder for the public? huh, interesting.

You assume too much.

I have no idea who was in Benghazi that night and neither does anybody else on this Board.

Odds are good that it was actually Military personnel under CIA direction. If anybody at all.

The suits at CIA don't generally like to get their hands dirty, contrary to what comes out of Hollywood.

If they weren't Military Personnel, they were low-level civilian 'contractors'.

Either way, Military or 'Civilian' personnel, those guys know how to fight. And I suspect they wouldn't be there unarmed. Not saying they were armed with howitzers & shit, but they likely had, at the very least, sidearms. And probably some long guns.

If they had been there, I think they would have gotten into the fight. Even if they had to throw rocks at the bad guys

This is all very confusing.
