I stockpile guns and ammo because I like guns and ammo.

In a survival situation, they make for a damned poor diet.

But they will buy more food than currency.

so will liquor.... stock pile liquor which will probably be as good as gold to barter with, if our currency ever fell!

Actually, a crossbow would work better, as you'd be able to re-use the arrows without having to reload them. Combine that with a working still? Shit.........you've got a crossbow for food, and liquor to trade.

You'd be a pretty rich person pretty quick.
