Banana cake...or bread...

Put three or four overripe bananas in mixing bowl, mash or beat them. Ad 1/2 c melted butter ir oil, 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk, a tsp vanilla, two eggs, a cup of sugar. Brown sugar, white or a mix.
In separate bowl mix 2 cups flour, a tsp of salt, a tsp of baking soda. Add to wet ingredients and mix up. Nuts fine if you want them.

pour into 13x9 pan with a greased bottom, cook at 350 on lower rack so top of pan is in middle of oven. Cook until good deep color and knife comes out clean...it takes about forty minutes, I think.

when cake comes out, cut in the pan and make glaze:

1 stick of butter melt it down add 1/2 c sugar 1/2 c milk add almond extract to flavor

stir constantly bring to full boil boil and stir four minutes.

pour over warm cut cake in pan. You can do it all at once, or put some on, let it sit and cool, heat up remainder and add more...
