Sullivan agreed with them that Flynn lied to the FBI. Some idiot Republican suggested the judge would throw out the plea. He is throwing out the no jail part of the deal. Apparently he accused Flynn of betraying his country.

Really? Why do you think the good judge was yelling at Flynn? No, it wasn't merely Flynn's lying to the FBI - that was just the plea agreement that let him off the hook for several other crimes, working as an unregistered foreign agent, for starters. Or, presumably, negotiating with Turkey the kidnapping of, and rendering out of the country, a U.S. resident, and that may not be the end of it.

Flynn was such a bag of filth, outgoing President Obama specifically warned Trump against hiring Flynn - the 11-day National Security Advisor. What, one has to ask, does anyone have to do in this administration to last just 11 days on the job - despite staunch support by Trump? Does anyone really believe it was just "lying to Pence"? As if Trump cared for that...

You need "a good cause" to withdraw a guilty plea. In this case, Flynn would need to demonstrate he didn't lie to the FBI. What happens next is, the prosecutors will charge Flynn, despite the prior cooperation, with lying to the FBI, and also with all the other crimes for which there is sufficient evidence to prove them before a court - crimes Flynn admitted during the negotiation of the plea, which routinely requires he come clean on everything he's done.

Flynn would have to be completely insane to withdraw that plea.
