Zone1 back after 20 years

The names are not wrong. Those are the names of the actors who played the characters in the TV series...

Welcome back, abrystal...
This isn't those actors' names. :nono:

Maybe it's the characters' names that the actors played.

For instance this guy:

...but we're reloading. ;)

What color should I hit them with next? Blue, or green?

Yeah, that's what I meant. That was the opening to the fictional television show in the movie, so the showed the names of the actors in the fictional television show rather than the names of the actual actors. So the name of the actor who played Commander Peter Quincy Taggart is Jason Nesmith, Jason Nesmith was played by Tim Allen.

Galaxy Quest is one of my favorite movies. I call it the best Star Trek movie never made.

If you have Prime, the is a fantastic documentary about Galaxy Quest called Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary, it's well worth the watch.

I love that movie. And it helps that Sigourney Weaver is in it and the awesome Alan Rickman, may he rest in peace.

Do you believe we came here that many years ago? :smiliehug:
Amazing, isn't it? and we didn't start off friendly way back when prior to coming here, either, remember? But I grew to appreciate you more than you know. You have been a tremendous help in more ways than one, so its been more like 15 years that we have been affiliated in some form or another and mostly ever so positive! That other place was quite toxic. Stay in a poison well, you become poisoned. I think that quote from whatsherface said it best. Can't remember her name. FireAnt, wasn't it? Or something like that.

Paulie and rightwinger are the only two posters I know of, that were from New Jersey???

Paulie was from south Jersey, a place I lived during my last two years of high school....

I can be across the bridge and in south Jersey in probably less than ten minutes or so.

My son used to play baseball tournaments pretty regularly over there.

Are you in Philly?

No, huh uh. In Delaware. For now anyway. Once I hit 55, I'm heading some place warm where the margaritas are good and with a more civilized demograph. Still have a few years left, though. The whole tri-state area has devolved into an urban jungle. And it's got much, much worse over the last few years.

It was over thirty some years ago when i lived there and where we lived it was extremely safe to live....a lovely area with fairly quick access to the beach in Ocean City or Longport.....both a little distance from Atlantic City and crime, casino gambling was not full force when we moved away ...maybe just a casino or two were built at that point..... and then back to living in Florida again....dad had retired from the Air Force and got a civil service job at Miami Center-Air Traffic Control....

It's not really so much the crime, per se.

That's anywhere one looks, really.

It's kind of a cultural/proper human relations type of erosion. The erosion of virtue, I suppose. Likely best approached in the form of its own topical content.

Anyway. I wasj ust kind of thnking out loud when you mentioned about Jersey.

I'm undecided about the jug handles. Sometimes they're convenient. Sometimes I think they're just dumb. Ha...
