Bachman Says Obama Wrong...Waterboarding Uncomfortable

Oh....it's the old terrorists don't have rights bit

Vietnamese used the same argument for torturing our pilots. They considered them to be war criminals who did not deserve the rights of soldiers

Guess it depends on which side you are on

What the hell are you saying? That its up to interpretation of who are the terrorists, between American troops and Al-Queda?????

If our troops commit violence against civilians, then they will be charged with war crimes, but the entire purpose of the military mission isn't to kill innocents, otherwise the country can be bought up on charges.

If you want to give terrorists the same rights as our troops, than you're undermining laws that exist that protects civilians, period.

And the question you have no answer for, is why did this only become torture when we started doing it to the enemy??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

You give them rights as human beings. That has always been our way

It did not become torture when we started doing it. Water boarding is condemned as torture around the world. In fact, we prosecuted Japanese for war crimes for engaging in water boarding

The United States is supposed to be the good guys. We lead by example. Engaging in torture does not set a good example

Its not the same waterboarding that has been condemned around the world, and no one was talking about how its torture when we were doing it to our troops exclusively.

I do agree with you that these people should get basic human rights. The waterboarding that we have designed, does not harm a person physically. There are plenty of other techniques we use that challenge the subject mentally, but we do so to get information that may save lives, not to prove a point. I think these techniques are very civilised.

Torture is subjective.

It sure is......those committing torture always find a way to claim the victim deserves it

You damned right they do. It's the animal coming out in them. They more than likely pulled the wings off of butterflies and set cats on fire when they were young....not to mention killing sparrows and wrens with their BB guns.
Christ, you're fuckn' stupid.

And I suppose you fully support the chopping up of, and sucking out of the womb of, innocent human life.

You liberal hypocrites are fuckin' bizzare.:cuckoo:

Getting information to save lives has always been used as a justification to engage in torture. The Germans used it, the Japanese used it, the Vietnamese used it. Any captured soldier can be tortured with the justification you are trying to save lives

Our water boarding is no more accepted than anyone elses. We are condemned around the world for using it. That is why President Obama refuses to authorize it.

Is it worth damaging our human rights reputation to use a technique that is of limited value in getting trusted information? Let's take the high road

Get back to us when you provide evidence of us actually torturing anybody.

American hero John McCain says it is torture.......it's good enough for me

I don't agree with the claims that this has limited value in getting information.

The US does more for human rights than any nation in the world, by far, and we don't get the credit. I don't care about our reputation across the world, as long as we are at the forefront in protecting humane rights, and advanced interrogation techniques against terrorists don't compromise our stance on human rights.

Funny but, Obama says it's torture, and the information gleaned is unreliable, but had no problem using said information gleaned to help get Bin Laden.

Leon Panettta fully admitted that valuable intel was obtained.

Not only that, but helped prevent attacks.

I agree wholeheartedly.

I happened to think of the stooges who started that shit to begin with.

That insane bitch. I wonder if she would volunteer for it to show her committment.

I'd cut their heads off...

That way they could experience the horror they endorse on others.

I'd put bamboo under their nails....

of course progressives believe we just pick up innocent people.....

using progressive logic maybe we should grant enemy combatants citizenship while they offer them 4 course meals and rapid apologies.

I have no problem with which progressives define as "torture."

IMO, we don't do enough..

Didn't Sean Hannity offer to be waterboarded back in 2009 - but chickened out?

Didn't both Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson agree to apologize if certain outcomes were met??

Not that I give a shit about Hannity..

I'm a Michael Savage fan and a proud member of the Savage Nation....

Speaking of ol' Al and Jesse, why are they not out defending brutha Cain?

Oh, that's right, never mind.:eusa_whistle:

It's interesting how you simple minded ignorant socialists need pictures and cannot debate your assertions so you post one liners or post pictures to state your disagreement with an alternative.

Can you leftists find the time to tell me WHY you disagree with me and WHY your opinion is right???

I spent a lot of time pondering that , hence I generally assert ideas I can back - otherwise I use
"IMO"

I suppose an individual has to be a democrat to be black...

A perfect example of how democrats treat people, yet they claim they're the party of tolerance and understanding...

It's almost a fucking comedy movie and I would laugh if it wasn't so serious.
