If you are talking about the most recent events at Berkley, the police were there and made 13 arrests, last I heard... The leader of the "right" group in that rally was on Tucker and he said that the police helped him and his crew get to safety and made about a dozen arrests of ANTIFA members.

Most of the people running the Democratic party, have zero resemblance to Democrats of old. That is NOT to say that Democrats in modern times never had a FAR LEFT wing; but it is to say they exerted little pressure on the party. Today, they control the party, and have left the American reservation, attempting to drag as many people with them as they can.

To know what a Democrat really was before, you only need look at history. Clinton was a Democrat, and how much did his economic ideas resemble the far lefts economic ideas of today? You can claim it was Gingrich, or give Bill Clinton all the credit if you wish, but how this country was governed under his Presidency, is NOTHING like what Obama did, or the left wants to do today!
