Attention grammar Nazis!

Which is the correct way to present a book, story or movie title in text? I have seen both italic and underlined. A few times both. There seems to be no consistency.

So is it War and Peace, War and Peace or War and Peace?
They are all acceptable. Use the examples in the style guide for your profession.
 
I don't know what the frap is going on in the US. Americans became grammatically speechless in the 1930s - 1940s when Hollywood stopped hiring actors from England. I've noticed lately that there isn't a single American who knows how to use plural forms and collective nouns. It's all about "freedoms" and "employments" and "tree leafs" and even made-up words like contacting someone "telephonically" and "three blind mices" and those who "sucame" to their injuries.
