Are Republican women who take birth control considered "sluts" by the GOP?

sluts are sluts ... It's not a bad thing when you are young. There is a age limit though. Then it is a bad thing.

Why?

Between my first and second marriage, I really enjoyed the fact that women in their late 30's were no longer hung up on sex. I slept with virtually every women I went on a date with - even the church going women. Were they "sluts," or just mature enough to stop playing games? They ALL paid for their own birth control, none of them were demanding the Catholic Church provide it to them.

Rick Santorum notwithstanding, I suspect there are a few rw's who indulge in recreational sex, sex without the intention of procreation. But maybe not.

No one is as hung up on sex as leftists.

When has that happened? WHO did that? WHO has even mentioned it as a possibility?

Do you EVER tune away from the hate sites to see what the subject actually is?

The whole point of the current bullshit is that Sandra Fluke is demanding that the Catholic Church, via Georgetown University, pay for her birth control - with Lord Obama putting out the royal decree that it be just so.

Not fluke, not any Dem or lib.

So, you're high on drugs right now, then?

Only fatso lushbo ad as we all know, he lies for a living.

How much crack DO you consume each day?

Try sex. You might like it.

You yap about sex, because you don't get any.

True Statement.

And, if you buy your own insurance, like fluke does, you or your female partner will be able to get a portion of your birth control needs covered by what YOU pay - just like Fluke does and just like a lot of other women do and have done for many many years.

And that's the way it should be.

But, being rw, you probably want the Dems to pay for your health insurance coverage.

When I buy insurance, I look at the options and the costs, then decide which package is right for me.

You demand that Obama look at the options and dictate which ones I will take - regardless of the costs...

Fuck Obama.

Rick Santorum's wife lived with another man for 6 years and never had a baby.

Rush has been married 4 times and never had a baby.

One has to assume these wives are taking birth control or have taken birth control.

Could they be considered "sluts" by today's right wing?

If not, then why not?

Since rush believes that having insurance pay for the medication promotes sex and makes her a prostitute does he feel the same way about viagra and other such drugs when they are covered by insurance?

Desperate to keep the topic on birth control. You really are scared of talking about the real issues aren't you?

Republicans made this an issue when they tried to make the focus "freedom of religion" so it's funny how afraid they are to talk about it now that the focus has changed and it has now backfired on them.

Only those who demand the Catholic Church provide them free of charge.

Are dumbocrats who demand free birth control considered leeches?

They are by anyone with a brain...

OK, so who is demanding that the catholic CHURCH provide them free of charge?? Please back up that claim.

Are conservatives who get their viagra covered by insurance leeches??

Maybe one should think before they pump out a rant. Should insurance companies be liable for paying for one's contraception, furthermore, is it the governments role to mandate such? Lets hope not! Is the poor little girl that happens to attend Georgetown so financially distraught she can't go the planned parenthood (courtesy of the tax payer) and purchase said contraception based on ability to pay, means testing? I guess she's entitled, BS! When one views the $49,241 national debt per citizen, $136,369 per tax payer, and $1,041,661 in unfunded liabilities per tax payer one is forced to ponder how long can this game continue. So one can't figure out why insurance rates continue to rise? Bad choice of words yes, anger and realization that enough is enough of this garbage could have been expressed more eloquently. One thought that is puzzling is why poor little entitled rich girl say no to her current lover?

What's the "real" issue? Religious freedom? That's been killed with the realization that Georgetown offers contraceptive coverage to its faculty.

Is the "real" issue who pays for it? That's been killed by the wing-nuts who are advocating that students get someone else to pay for their contraception at free clinics, as opposed to them paying for health insurance that would cover it.

Is the "real" issue the pretty little bunnies? Okay, you might have me there. The bunnies are pretty. But relying on the lucky rabbit's foot is not exactly the most effective way to deal with preventative health care.

Simple. They do not ask for you to subsidize their birth control.

And who is asking for anyone to subsidize their birth control? The latest arguments coming from the right wingers on this board are that free contraception can be had at planned parenthood. Meanwhile, Fluke is advocating for a health insurance mandate whereby individuals would pay for their own insurance, and the insurance would cover contraception.

It's not Fluke who's arguing that students' contraception should be paid for by someone else. :eusa_whistle:

An employer who has no moral objection to offering birth control.

Apparently Georgetown University has no moral objection to offering birth control either. Because the insurance it offers to its faculty covers it. It just denies it to its students. Maybe Georgetown just has a moral objection to children being born after wedlock. Who knows?

Fluke testifying before Congress that the Catholic university she attends should cover contraceptives for students is not asking the Catholic Church to pay for contraceptives?

Do they take in tutition to cover the cost of running their university which is a separate entity from the CHURCH.
It is a catholic institution that serves to educate it's students for a fee and also requires that they buy a student health insurance plan. It is not a catholic church.

Fluke testifying before Congress that the Catholic university she attends should cover contraceptives for students is not asking the Catholic Church to pay for contraceptives?

No, it's not. It's asking the church to stay out of the way and stop preventing students from buying insurance that does cover contraception. Georgetown University offers health insurance options to its faculty that include contraceptive coverage. Why not the students? The whole religious argument has no merit or standing, considering that the University is already doing what you allegedly claim is against their morals.

Is the poor little girl that happens to attend Georgetown so financially distraught she can't go the planned parenthood (courtesy of the tax payer) and purchase said contraception based on ability to pay, means testing?

Okay, so you support college students having their contraception subsidized by the tax payer.

When one views the $49,241 national debt per citizen, $136,369 per tax payer, and $1,041,661 in unfunded liabilities per tax payer one is forced to ponder how long can this game continue.

Hmmm, I see your point. Maybe we should cut costs. Maybe we should stop using tax money to subsidize contraception. But what should we do, then, about all the people who won't have contraception? Oh, I know, how about we have that new health care law include a mandate where people would have to buy their own insurance that would cover contraception also? That'll do it!

So one can't figure out why insurance rates continue to rise?

Well, if we're using taxpayer money to subsidize contraception, why would insurance rates rise? Hey, do you think that rising insurance rates might have nothing to do whatsoever to this discussion?

Bad choice of words

In your words...

Is that what Rush believes?

Good of you to make shit up and assign it to him.

If I am wrong then enlighten me. Why did he call her a prostitute?

Rush argued that because she wants insurance to cover the cost of birth control that she "wants to be paid to have sex" and then he called her a "slut" and a "prostitute" so what did I make up??
