or….with Republicans at the helm, we can have some common-sense legislation. Don’t obnoxious, disruptive kids get sent to detention hall any more? Remove them from the classroom so good kids can learn.

Well in my state, a Republican lt gov with an autistic daughter, along with a Republican congress, passed laws that said teachers cannot touch students in crisis except in dire emergencies. You might think that's a great idea, but it means we have to allow students to RUN OUT OF THE BLDG and then chase them into the street.

I am not making this up.

It means we have multiple classes in our school that--when kids meltdown--the entire class has to evacuate, sometimes for over an hour, while the kid throws things, hits, etc. Teachers/adults cannot bodily remove the child.

Republicans did this. Yep.

Bit the private school can suspend disruptive students, and thus discipline will be restored in the classroom. We will see fewer disruptive students.

So states need to make changes if a voucher program is initiated.
