according to police reports the long gun was found hours later in the trunk of a car and the killer had two hand guns

30 shots in under ten seconds. 2 seconds to put in a new magazine. Perfect weopoon for cleaning out crowded malls or first and second grade school rooms.

Yeah we should definitely keep it to just handguns where someone can only dump 30 rounds in more like 20 seconds.

Tons of lives will be spared

The police haven't released exact info so there's no way to know which exact model rifle he used.

Man you're slow. You can do it in 1 1/2. Less than that with a pistol.

If it only takes two seconds to change magazines, your hoped-for limitation of 10-round magazines really won't make much difference, will it?

Two seconds where someone can stop the shooter...

Which by the way, is EXACTLY how they tackled Loughner when he stopped to reload.

Two second is about the time it would take to realize the gun was empty. Loughner was in the middle of a crowd of people, which is unusual for such cases.
Another Joe-fail.

I suspect most of that crowd was running the hell away from him...

And frankly, where else are you going to do a mass-shooting except in a "crowd"?

Let's be honest, you guys are tools of the gun industry. they tell you their profits are in danger, and you guys leap on the grenade...

You suspect. There's a great source. It was a crowded packed event. That's why there were people next to Loughner. Where were they going to run?
Anotehr Joe-fail.

How much ground can you cover in two seconds, tough guy?

That's rich, coming from one of Uncle Joe's useful idiots. :lmao:

anyone on this forum have a pic of the assault "rifle" used at Sandy Hook? Sorry... But it's kind of difficult to post pictures of things that do not exist.

You missed the point. Loughner got off 30 rounds. Then he had to stop to reload, and that's when folks in the crowd tackled him.

They might have done it a lot earlier if he only had a 10 round clip!

AOL Search

According to all that I have read, the children were all killed with the AR. And it is an assault rifle. It was designed for only one thing, killing large numbers of people rapidly. It did that very well.

The weapon used at Sandy Hook was not an assault rifle kids, lets be clear.

I'm sure that's a great comfort to the parents of those 20 dead kids.

You only say that because you are using those kids to further an agenda -just like your handlers. No problem about dead Americans in Benghazi, or dead Border Patrol agents though... They just don't make very valuable pawns in your despicable chess game.
