Another socialist cabinet member, who would of thought.

I do, but it was fun nonetheless. Bottom line is, he IS a socialist, his actions and policies speak for that much. Of course there are going to be people protecting him on that, what would the majority of Americans think if Obama took the podium and declared that he was indeed a socialist with intentions of pushing America into being a socialist country? Americans would flip out and he would not get reelected. They will protect him at all costs. Just my 2 cents.

Except he isn't a socialist. Go look at what real socialists are saying. Heck, I know a few socialists and none of them consider President Obama to be one of them.

SO he's not a socialist, but favors and passes socialist style policies. Makes no sense. That would be like me being the driver in a bank robbery and using the defense that I was only the driver and did not rob the bank. I'm still guilty of the crime am I not?

What socialist style policies not mentioned in the CNN article does he support?

I didn't say that, you did. To be honest about it, I could care less.

Except you just said they probably are. :eusa_eh:

By the way, go ahead and name some Socialists in President Obama's current Administration.
Carol Browner.

Van Jones (was juuuust a little to above-board about his socialist proclivities and resigned).

Valerie Jarrett.

Cass Sunstein.

Ron Bloom.

Mark Lloyd.

John Holdren.

Kevin Jennings.

Donald Berwick.

The individual mandate in the healthcare bill is in itself socialist. It's taking from one to give to another. Also, Odd put up a list, I dont know where he got it from, wish I would have found it earlier though. My search skills are not as honed as I would like them to be.

Yes, what methods of the socialist economic philosophy does Obama not support?

Progressives can you answer that question?

10 bucks says they're looking up socialism on wikipedia as I post this....

The individual mandate in the healthcare bill is in itself socialist. It's taking from one to give to another.

Wow! Clearly you do not understand the mandate! All it says is you have to have insurance. If you get insurance from your employer or your union, you're set. You don't have to buy or do anything.

Honestly, don't be scared of reading.

Actually Obama is a corporate fascist that panders to socialists.

He only sucks off the corporations that spread the disease of unionim.

Well unless you're an aeronautical engineer that is...

Keep your laws off my body. :eusa_whistle:

Individual mandate that originated from the Heritage Foundation is socialist?

But you have to pay for the fat asses of society - therefore since you don't want to pay for the "fat people" you will allow government to dictate what we all eat.

See how that works?

You know what one of the first thing the Marxists did was? attack the farmers - you know why you fucking retard?? because people cannot live without food and water.

Now look at the FDA, the EPA etc...

Oh and your health care - yeah you don't want to pay for a fat ass.

But our Marxist government would never use obesity as a tool would they.... No not the media.

Gotta smash those cheeseburger capitalists in the head right?

I said current Administration.

Last I checked, Carol Browner, Kevin Jennings, and Van Jones aren't there. Also link to where Browner is a socialist? Same for Jennings?

Do tell how Cass is a Socialist.

How is Bloom socialist? Because he quoted Mao once?

Same thing for Valerie Jarrett, some evidence would be nice for any of your names.

I assume you call Lloyd one because Glenn Beck used that one clip. Lloyd himself said he doesn't support Chavez.

Don't see how John Holdren is socialist.

Can't recall Berwick but I'm sure you can remind me.

I think you've been listening to Glenn Beck too much.

Or Mitt Romney.

How soon they forget.

I believe that secession should be the last option.
Yes Sowell and Williams are Libertarian. I believe that both endorsed Ron Paul. At least Dr. Williams did.
However both favor laissez-faire capitalism, a decidedly Conservative approach. Neither could ever bring themselves to vote for barack obama.

Constitutionally, secession isn't an option at all. So when you hold it as one..you go against the Constitution and are treasonous and a traitor.

There is no black and white here.
Hell secession has always been discussed as a remedy. Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island even discussed secession a couple times in the early 19th century as did Thomas Jefferson and Gouverneur Morris.
SCOTUS precedent has declared secession to be unconstitutional, but precedent is ultimately temporary. Even slavery at one time was "Constitutional"

There are only two paths to secession. One is through congress, which would never happen..and the other through revolution.

The second path is treasonous.

Simple as that.
