Another socialist cabinet member, who would of thought.

This adminstration is founded on collectivism as means of retaining the trappings of power. But will easily conceed the same in the name of "bi-partisanship" to retain said power.

Oh, and in 1983 my mother did tell me that I should label any half white and half Kenyan that happens to win a presidential election in 2008 a socialist.

I know my mom is odd...

I didn't say that, you did. To be honest about it, I could care less.

Except you just said they probably are. :eusa_eh:

By the way, go ahead and name some Socialists in President Obama's current Administration.

Did you see this part in the document?

For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:

Something this government is doing right now, dont ya think?

No. I don't think. Not at all. Even though you don't like "that one" in the White House, the American people voted him in. You got a vote. You had a say.

Plus of course the obvious which is that Obama lowered your taxes, but whatever.

Didn't lower my taxes, how do you figure?

ur not a very good dictionary.

Collectivism is any philosophic, political, economic or social outlook that emphasizes the interdependence of every human in some collective group and the priority of group goals over individual goals. Collectivists usually focus on community, society or nation. Collectivism has been widely used to refer to a number of different political, economic and educational philosophies, ranging from communalism and democracy to totalitarian nationalism.

nationalism

Nationalism is a political ideology that involves a strong identification of a group of individuals with a political entity defined in national terms, i.e. a nation. In the 'modernist' image of the nation, it is nationalism that creates national identity.[

So you are saying that collectivism has never existed in the US of A ever before this president?

Not sure, you got me there, I spoke too soon, I'm ugly and you're pretty, I'm dumb and you're smart, I am small and you are tall.............

:D
It's not like they would be jumping up and down screaming "I'm socialist!" or anything. Did people know john wayne gacy was a serial killer before he was caught? All I'm saying is the policies he passes are socialist "Healthcare", he himself is a socialist, therefore it only makes sense that he would surround himself with the like.

So wait. Obama surrounds himself with nothing but Socialists but you can't name even one in his Administration?

Things that make one wonder.

Taking what one citizen has worked and earned to give it to another citizens who has not worked for it is not a good thing, it's criminal and goes against everything this country was founded on.

The Declaration of Independence disagrees with you.

"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

They were talking about fighting a revolution, not providing flat screens for freeloaders.

Exactly.

So wait. You just compared people in Obama's Administration who you are accusing to be socialist without any evidence to a serial killer. Then you call the healthcare plan that was asked socialism.

How about we ask a real socialist about that?

Ask the card-carrying socialists: Is Obama one of them? - CNN

Socialists scoff at the notion. They don't applaud the passage of the recent health care bill either. They wanted a national "single-payer" health insurance plan with a government option. The bill that Obama championed didn't have any of those features.

Wharton said the new health care bill only strengthens private health insurance companies. They get 32 million new customers and no incentive to change -- something a socialist wouldn't accept.

"Most of it was authored by the health care industry," Wharton says. "I call it the corporate restructuring of health care."

And before you ask who this Wharton guy is.

But Wharton, co-chair of the Socialist Party USA, sees no reason to celebrate. He's seen people with bumper stickers and placards that call Obama a socialist, and he has a message for them: Obama isn't a socialist. He's not even a liberal.

Obviously. Since they weren't invented yet.

If I call a white piece of paper black, does that mean it's not white?

No pun intended.

This administration's foundation is the facade of social egalitarianism and redistributive justice.

Thus goeth its officers.

You do understand the massive amount of fail you've made with this thread and your comments, right? Just want to make sure.

I do, but it was fun nonetheless. Bottom line is, he IS a socialist, his actions and policies speak for that much. Of course there are going to be people protecting him on that, what would the majority of Americans think if Obama took the podium and declared that he was indeed a socialist with intentions of pushing America into being a socialist country? Americans would flip out and he would not get reelected. They will protect him at all costs. Just my 2 cents.
