Andrew Klavan is a novelist and screen writer......in his podcast at the dailywire he stated to a fans email, that he had never scene a nude scene that was necessary in a movie, and went on to say that it was wrong that they make young actresses take off their clothes to be in the movies....

Can anyone name one nude scene or sex scene...where you actually see the nudity, that is.....that was necessary......or was it just so the democrats running the set could abuse young actresses?

He discusses this at the 32 minute mark on the video....

The vintage Hitchcock block buster "Psycho" was perhaps the last example of a movie relying on suspense instead of gore and nudity. H'wood producers pushed the envelope so far that kids today can access more graphic realistic experiences in carnage and death in a week than Veterans of the Greatest Generation got in the whole war.

No I haven't and I agree. Not necessary.

Don't even get me going on ratings, like R. The ex would give the kid anything and fold on anything. Stepdemon wanted to watch everything. Told her R rated (13) "OH I seen that before" I told her "it is not what you have seen before but how you PROCESS IT" Neither of them understood. Try watching a movie peaceful when some skin came up and kid starts wooohoooo like a drunk sailon in PI. They don't get it. And again, no it's not necessary. Not that I am a prude, Movies could be better. I find foreigh flicks sometimes better even when I can't understand the lingo.

Some movies and moviemakers focus on artistic content. Most focus on commercial success, hence, the two ingredients that sell movies, sex, and violence. Yes, fans will spend money on seeing their favorite movie stars nude.

I believe there is a such thing as "tasteful" nudity, like Venus di Milo - beyond that, I can't comment, and I'm not much of a fan of Hollywood movies anyway.
