Hell even my new husband, who I don't technically have any kids with, calls me Mom on occasion (he did raise my youngest though) He'd gotten into a habit of joining the boys with the "Mooooommmmm" <so n so is doing whatever, or i'm hungry/bored etc> and it stuck a little bit. He still calls me "hon" most of the time, but every once in a while he'll go "moooommmm <sounding just like hte boys did before they moved out> I'm hungry/thirsty/whatever" heh
