The Israeli authorities’ authorization of the construction of 3,000 further illegal settlement homes in the occupied West Bank today - the fourth such announcement within weeks - highlights their shocking willingness to flout international law, said Amnesty International.

They go on to accuse our President of emboldening the war criminals...
Israel/OPT: Flurry of settlement activity shows flagrant disregard for international law

Still cannot for the life of me figure out how people can support such brazen war criminality... but here we are.

Your whining about international law is comical in view of designated Islamic terrorist franchises occupying the disputed territories.

Those are not settlements. They are Jewish neighborhoods situated on Israeli land. Tell the UN to get lost. As for international law? Technically there is no such thing. Israel is a sovereign nation. Ask Flanders about that. He can explain it better than I can.

UN Security Council Resolution 2334

“1. Reaffirms that the establishment by Israel of settlements in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem, has no legal validity and constitutes a flagrant violation under international law and a major obstacle to the achievement of the two-State solution and a just, lasting and comprehensive peace;"

You don't seem to fit well in this forum as you have a wonderful grasp of actual facts.

Just about everything frequently alleged against Israeli settlements in the West Bank can be said, truthfully, about recent Palestinian construction on the outskirts of Jerusalem, writes Bassam Tawil. Such construction is illegal; it is intended to impede the possibility of a two-state solution; and it often takes place on land stolen from private Palestinian owners.

It's always the same: Arabs-Moslems stealing land.

That doesn't explain why most non-Muslim members of the U.N. except for the U.S. condemn Israel for its murderous behavior.

The idea that Israel is obligated to actively prevent Jewish people from living in parts of the territory under its control is absurd. Eugene Kontorovich explains:

What do they mean when people say the "settlements are illegal"? These words which have never been interpreted or applied to any other country. What they really mean is that Israel is required by some principle of international law to maintain Judea and Samaria as a Jew-free zone. Indefinitely. Until the Palestinians take it off their hands and maintain it as a Jew-free zone themselves. Israel is obligated to ensure that the areas from which Jordan expelled the Jews in 1949 remains de-populated of Jews. Indefinitely. And that is a fairly shocking proposition when put in those terms. That's why people want to talk about it as "illegalities", because when it is translated into what it means -- that Israel must maintain a Jew-free zone -- it doesn't sound as nice. That is why the "illegal" rhetoric is important.

The notion that a country is required by law to keep a certain territory under its control free of its own citizens is not something that has ever been asked of any country in the world. It is not something that any country has been asked to do. It is not something that any country has done. And it is not something any country has been faulted for failing to do. Its an unprecedented demand

Two bad " International Law" did not exist before 1967 and the Arab World was not interested in achieving " peace" . Notice the words this phony uses; a just and lasting peace. Exactly the opinion of the Arab World being in favor of " the Right of Return" which would destroy the " Two Stste Solution"

International law has no standing in Israel.
