Been dangerous for decades. The tourist business doesn't want it known, neither do the labor racketeers who encourage criminal illegals to swarm over here. Not even close to safe. I lived there until I was about 7, lived right on the border near the bridge to Juarez. We used to ride out bikes over the bridge and back by ourselves as kids, go shopping over there, visit friends. That all ended by the 1970's.
