You wrongly claimed that the Republican Congress gave the power to Trump to write illegal Executive Orders.See Post # 69 for an explanation of your error.Quit changing the subject. You weren't worried about your dear leader ignoring the law and Constitution, hell his DOJ lied to judges and his attorney general was held in contempt of congress, that didn't phase you hypocrites a bit. That makes you nothing but a partisan hack with absolutely no proof that Trump has violated anything.
The law specifically states that it is the CONGRESS aka the Legislative branch of Government that is WHOLLY in charge of immigration in this country. Presidential powers do not extend BEYOND refugees.
Immigration
So Trump is in violation of the U.S. Constitution by usurping the constitutional authority of CONGRESS. He did NOT have the constitutional authority to issue a ban.
All past Presidents have conferred with the U.S. Attorney general before making decisions like this. Because it is the Attorney General of this country that advises the Presidents on which actions they can take and which ones they can't. Instead, Comrade Trump FIRED her for her refusal to break the law, and she advised all DOJ personal to NOT DEFEND his executive order because it was unlawful.
You have elected a fucking lunatic loose cannon, that doesn't know jack shit, and will not seek the advice from others that do. Trump should be impeached for this. Trump took an oath to protect & defend the U.S. Constitution, and he's already broken that oath.
First it's not a ban and he does have the authority when congress delegates the powers to him.
