AG Barr weighed in on the rioting and looting across the country in recent weeks.

AG Bill Barr: It’s the job of the Department of Justice to mete out justice fairly and evenhandedly in that particular case and not be influenced by the mob… Protests and demonstrations are fine but when they become mob violence we need to restore public order. We can’t be ruled by mobs. A lot of these demonstrations have been hijacked by anarchistic groups and professional agitators who are in it just for the violence and the confrontation… I understand an event like Minneapolis and how it struck a chord… For the past few decades we’ve been reforming our institutions to make sure they reflect our values. And police have been engaged in that… Instances in the shooting of black unarmed males has been dropping. It was 38 five years ago, last year it was ten. Ten in the nation and six of those were involved in attacking the police officer. So while any death is too many. The fact is that in proportion it’s relatively small. I mean there were roughly 8,000 homicides of African Americans in our country every year. 8,000! Ten last year were shooting (by police) a black male.

Factually AG Barr is correct that "roughly 8,000 homicides of African Americans in our country every year. 8,000! Ten last year were shooting (by police) a black male." That does not include the number of black children killed in abortions aka genocide.
The truth matters, when the numbers of homicides by race of victim/offender are examined. Most homicides of blacks are by other blacks, and homicide of blacks by whites is less likely than homicide of whites by blacks.
When have Progressive Marxist Socialis/DSA Democrat leftists the media or any national official show grief over inner city blacks who are slain by the gangs? Don't those lives matter? Apparently not to our elites.
The # Black Lives Matter" movement is strictly a 'Racist Movement' ginned up by the PMS/DSA Democrat Leftists. It's false in every way.
A good example of the falsity of their reasoning is that Ten were shot in Minneapolis after midnight on Sunday morning and there were reports of up to 100 people brawling using “various weapons” in the area..




'Facts Matter. Truth Matters' this is absolutely correct, that is for civil, intelligent, logical thinking human beings.
Those descriptors however, do not apply to the vermin we presently are dealing with. Facts bounce off their brainless heads. Truth is what their latest Twitter hero says it is.

It’s never totally knowable why an event becomes “viral” but I think it’s most often a combination of events.

1. Breonna Taylor being shot in a pointless search warrant. Her boyfriend fired at police thinking they were robbers. Her boyfriend was initially charged with attempted murder.

2. Ahmed Arbery being shot on the street and nothing happening about it for months.

3. George Floyd being murdered on the street while people plead for them to stop.

Of note. None of those instances is one of police shooting an unarmed black persons.

I think that Barr’s statistics aren’t really reflecting the real issues.
