This movie earned a 91 percent critic rating and a 75 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and I have absolutely no idea why.
This is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. I wish I could remember how the hell it ended up in my queue.
Nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. Even the forest fire which is supposedly threatening the local area is never shown. There's not even any smoke.
The story is about a photographer and a writer taking a working vacation on the Baltic sea. There is a promiscuous woman who is another resident in the house who is renting a room. The writer finds it impossible to sleep at night since she is very loud with her lovemaking with a local lifeguard. We don't even get to see any nudity, either.
The writer really sucks at his job, and he knows it.
Oh, and the movie is in German.
