Cleary the illegal occupation of Palestine is spinning out of control as peace was murdered by Israeli greed for Palestinian land that is never satisfied.

I think the Palestinians are ready for an intifada for Israel. I also foresee a pact with Russia who would gladly arm them for influence.

They are a very brave people who will not bow or surrender to the ZioNazis.

Abbas says Palestinians no longer bound by pacts with Israel
UNITED NATIONS (AP) — Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared before world leaders Wednesday that he is no longer bound by agreements signed with Israel and called on the United Nations to provide international protection for Palestinians, in the most serious warning yet that he might walk away from engagement with the Jewish state.

Abbas, however, stopped short of accompanying his threat with a deadline or giving any specifics, leaving room for diplomatic maneuvers to refocus the world's attention on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Abbas did not say how he will move forward. He also avoided mentioning of a mainstay of Israeli-Palestinian relations — security coordination between his security forces and Israeli forces in the West Bank against a shared enemy, the Islamic militant group Hamas.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quick to denounce Abbas' speech.

In a statement issued by his office, Netanyahu said Abbas' "speech of lies encourages incitement and unrest in the Middle East."

Netanyahu called on Abbas to "act responsibly" and answer his proposal for direct negotiations with Israel without any preconditions.

et al,

I wonder how this will impact anything in terms of dialog; since it is the Palestinians that have set conditions on further negotiations.

And how will this affect the transfer of funds from Israel to Palestine???

Your posts are getting to be almost as delusional and funny as Penelope's. The Russians will not arm the Palestinians. Period.

As for an intifada and the Palestinian 'bravery', well how far has it gotten them so far? Continuing to do the same things over and over again and expecting a different result is insanity you know.

So, I hope they do try another. And they will be shown AGAIN how stupid they are AGAIN. They will NEVER beat Israel. EVER.

Its gotten them recognition by flying the flag of Palestine at the UN Stupid.

Russia is here and probably has aimed a few hundred nukes at Israel already.

Well the terrorist who rolled the money for the Olympic massecre finally admits the palestinian true policy...that's actually news that he told the truth...but when did balestinians ever respect any pact or agreement?

Now, THAT is funny! Hamas is shooting Rockets into Israel yet he states the Palestinians are no longer bound by " agreements?" Tell us please ONE " agreement " the Palestinians have made with Israel

Another lie. Seems this one lies a lot. The Palestinians have always demanded nothing less but the 67 Borders, " Right of Return" and some of " Israel Proper" leading from Gaza to the W. Bank

Like Peace Treaties, Neither Oslo Accord (I or II) has an expiration date; only a date it goes into force. There are several time limit challenges in the agreements; but the accomplishment (or lack thereof) does not terminate the agreements.

Both agreements have clauses stipulate the method of "Dispute Resolution."

Article XV --- Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements (AKA: Oslo Agreement I)

RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES

1. Disputes arising out of the application or interpretation of this Declaration of Principles, or any subsequent agreements pertaining to the interim period, shall be resolved by negotiations through the Joint Liaison Committee to be established pursuant to Article X above.

2. Disputes which cannot be settled by negotiations may be resolved by a mechanism of conciliation to be agreed upon by the parties.

3. The parties may agree to submit to arbitration disputes relating to the interim period, which cannot be settled through conciliation. To this end, upon the agreement of both parties, the parties will establish an Arbitration Committee.

ARTICLE XXI --- Israeli-Palestinian Interim Agreement on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip

Settlement of Differences and Disputes

Any difference relating to the application of this Agreement shall be referred to the appropriate coordination and cooperation mechanism established under this Agreement. The provisions of Article XV of the DOP shall apply to any such difference which is not settled through the appropriate coordination and cooperation mechanism, namely:

1.Disputes arising out of the application or interpretation of this Agreement or any related agreements pertaining to the interim shall be settled through the Liaison Committee.

2. Disputes which cannot be settled by negotiations may be settled by a mechanism of conciliation to be agreed between the Parties.

3. The Parties may agree to submit to arbitration disputes relating to the interim period, which cannot be settled through conciliation. To this end, upon the agreement of both Parties, the Parties will establish an Arbitration Committee.
It seems that the Palestinians cannot even terminate the agreements in the proper manner, first proceeding through the Dispute Resolution Processes agreed upon; a further demonstration of their trustworthiness and good faith effort.

The months of March/April 1999 were key benchmark period.
Didn't Oslo expire in 1999?
(COMMENT)

It is unlikely that Israel will argue or maintain a reliance on the Accords. It may actually work in Israel favor. If the Palestinians abrogate the agreements, then it is understood that the negotiation that would have covered remaining issues, including: Jerusalem, refugees, settlements, security arrangements, borders, relations and cooperation with other neighbors, and other issues of common interest, are no longer required in the eyes of the Palestinians that have refused to open a dialog without preconditions.

Further, it is a demonstration of the adoption of the Khartoum Resolution that established the Arab Three-NO's:

• No peace with Israel,
• No recognition of Israel, and
• No negotiations with Israel.

And the Palestinian Authority, established in accordance with the Gaza-Jericho Agreement, was given meaning in these agreements. The disestablishment of these agreements could result in the unintended consequence of destabilizing the would-be State. And finally, the abrogation of these agreements makes any agreements to achieve a goal irrelevant, and no long up for debate since the Arab Palestinians have waived the Dispute Resolution process.

One of the more interesting consequences is Annex III of the Gaza-Jericho Agreement, (Protocol Concerning Legal Matters), and when this abrogation takes effect. I consider this one of the more critical agreements. It speaks to the heart of many issues.

It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds.

The Palestinians have left Israel holding the bag, let them police the coming rage and the changing equation with Russia's support of Iran, Syria and Hezbollah...

Rockets will be flying.

So the Palestinians are racking it up a notch and making threats, so yes the UN should get involved by first removing Palestine from the UN completely and removing their status. Then sending in troops to cordon of the Temple mount and prime the carbuncles with H.E. At the first sign of trouble a controlled explosion bringing down the mosques façade should send out a clear message. Then reduce the aid through UNWRA to 10% and place UN border controls to stop all traffic in and out of Palestine, and to show the world what a proper blockade looks like. Any nation that complains about the treatment should also be removed from the UN and escorted outside to face American Justice on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Guess your cut and paste has failed as all it shows is the arab muslims demanding special treatment again. Time to pull the plug and force them into making the right decisions

Simple if the Palestinians say that all agreements are null and void then Israel MUST go along with them and first step is to remove the al aqsa mosque as that was one of the first agreements. See how much the muslims bleat about that to Abbas
